Welcome to any new readers coming to the website from the new book, I would suggest you read the spreadbetting book in conjunction with Naked Trader, available here:

**

What????? The end of November already??? How did that happen?
Now suddenly I have loads to do before heading off for South Africa on Dec 14th for the festive period.
Everything has to be done by then. That includes two massive seminars and a smaller one, getting Xmas cards sent off, then there are nativity plays, Santa has to be visited, packing must be done
I think I'm beginning to feel how someone who has to go out and really work for a living. Hey anyway looking forwards to meeting all those of you coming to the seminar on Friday, more in a mo.
It's the first time I've been to restaurant for Sunday lunch and come out.. feeling hungry.
As did Christopher, in fact so hungry we had to go to the supermarket to get a sandwich!
My pork belly was about three dry mouthfuls with some ,mash. Christopher's beef stew had more mushroom bits than beef.
But weirdly a few evenings ago Mrs NT went there and it was great. I guess it depends on the chef and maybe going at 2.30 at the end of a Sunday service wasn't so great.
We're back to the pub next time for the Sunday roast!
Christopher is busy practising for whatever religious cobblers his school is putting together for Xmas.
Mrs NT tells me he arrived home singing 'with gold and myrrh and frankincense, they came
from a farm'

Mrs NT said: "Do you mean afar?"

C: (resigned) : " No Mummy, they came from a farm".
A six-year old is always right ok.
Well, maybe they did come from a farm, the Bible could be wrong.
I see the Mail has trumped my Naked Trader Willie and Kate plate offer, undercutting me AND giving them away free.
Well, except you need to buy nearly every Mail between now and the end of January, cut out a coupon every day and send them all in. With your name and address and email address. I am sure they wouldn't dream of using them for marketing purposes?
In response I'm cutting my price in half to £50 per naked trader commemorative plate. However like the Mail it will be free if you print out every edition of the website (inc the Xmas Day edition).

Then the plate is your for free (RRP £100). All I ask for is £25 for post and packing... Delivery will be made within three years (unless they divorce).
Thanks to reader Terry for spotting this from a company statement yesterday:
"In this day and age, an order book is a thing of the past. We are reliant on each daily
intake of orders, to generate our sales. Within the six month period,
August proved to be a very difficult and lean month. Had it not been,
the figures might have been much better.

I mention this to illustrate how difficult it is to forecast the results
for the full year. I am pleased to say business has picked up again
since August, but we have every reason to be fearful of the early months
of 2011."
The writer of the statement will definitely not win awards for marketing! He might as well just say "Don't buy shares in my company!"
The cleaner's mouth fell open when she saw the amount of chocolate bars delivered this morning for the seminar. It's going to take me an hour to put them on the tables!
The delivery guy is used to my large choc orders and just shrugs his shoulders now at me in my pyjama bottoms living off benefits like I do.
I could see the cleaner eyeing up the Yorkie biscuit and raisin bars but sadly for her she won't be able to hunt for them the minute I've gone out.
Because I've already put all the chocs into the car boot except for a little stash which I have siphoned off for myself and hidden somewhere where no cleaner or six-year-old is going to find!
I can't wait for Friday and the seminar... I always end up enjoying them. Every one ends up being a bit different as it all depends on who is there and sometimes there are some very different roads we end up in.
And often it's also great for my trading as inevitably in all that time some shares come up that I might not otherwise have spotted and researched.
Those of you coming on Friday doors open 9.30am... follow the signs to Naked Trader..
I've been moved to a massive room because the room I had is going to be used by someone else! But it has meant there is more room and glad I managed to get one or two of you on the waiting list in.
Please come and register first and then find a seat - coffees will be there waiting for you. Those of you coming from the freezing East or North may well need a very hot drink!
If you are coming from a snowy area please allow extra time and drive safely and please do not worry if you are late, Mrs NT will direct you to a seat.

Grab a coffee and just relax, I promise to be gentle with you all..

Me and Mrs NT are very excited that Starbucks is now open at the hotel because the hotel's coffee is ****!

(If anyone wants to get me one during the day it must be a short, extra dry cappuchino with wholemilk!)

I hope you all enjoy the day, as it's live from the markets who knows what will come up. Hopefully we will find some interesting shares and some good level 2's to puzzle out timing.

It's likely the event will carry on well into the evening as once I get going it's hard to get me to finish!

Do chat to other delegates, part of these seminars is to find similar people interested in trading and there are a lot of friendships made. So make sure you note down some email addresses!

Anyway see you all there and hope you enjoy it and find it a very useful day. And enjoy lunch, chocs and coffee!

Friday's seminar is sold out however don't despair as there is still space for the next one for those of you who I had to turn away for Friday.

The new date is just two- three weeks away, Monday December 13th - The Xmas Seminar!
So still taking bookings for December 13th ... mail me for details at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Xmas Seminar interested" in the subject line.

The very generous early booking discount is about to disappear so be quick!
Beginners and improvers welcome! Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch!
If you mail me I will then send you details and a full agenda of what is covered. Also more details below somewhere.

My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.
A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!

I get quite a few mails asking what magazines or news services I subscribe to etc. Well, hardly any! I get the Investors Chronicle delivered.
However I do subscribe (£7.99 a month though take the yearly option at 20% discount to that) to a daily email which is my main source of news about such things as broker upgrades, main news items, analysis of stocks and markets, forthcoming company statements and events, stock recommendations and targets from the top brokers, what kind of earnings expected from companies and a whole heap more useful stuff.
I sometimes get ideas from this for companies to watch or monitor or even buy. And it's handy to get a summary of what the brokers are saying and looking at future earnings etc.
It usually arrives around 5ish every day.
I contacted the people that put it together and they offer a free 14 day trial of it to my readers - so you can cancel after 14 days if you don't feel it's useful enough.
Once you cut and paste this link into your browser, click "uk 14 days free trial" then I would go "yearly option" which gives a 20% discount making it just over £6 a month, as you can still cancel seems worth it. Hope you find it useful like I do. It's one of the few paid for news services that has really impressed.

An interesting email from a reader. The thrust of it was he was going to buy a share after doing a lot of research but then it went up 12% and he hadn't bought it yet. So he felt angry.
How does he stop/halt the feelings of anger?
Well, you have to take the emotion out of trading. Which isn't easy.
I suggested he should read this book.. by Jason Zweig
http://books.global-investor.com/books/256158.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
This is the one to read on psychology. Great read.

Spreadbetting firm Tradefair Spreads has upped its offer exclusively to Naked Trader readers to a £100 credit. This offer is exclusive to me and not available anywhere else...
I've been using them for a few weeks to check that I'm happy with the service. As you know I don't take ads or allow referrals on the site unless it's a company I've used and I feel confident about.
What I like about it is it's easy to use, spreads are surprisingly tight on the smaller companies and interestingly an automated stop loss is applied to each trade - so beginners know what their max loss is from the outset.
Anyway they now offer a £100 credit as long as you deposit £100. You get the credit after you placed 5 trades (Terms and conditions apply)
If you'd like to apply for an account with Tradefair Spreads and get the freebie click this link:

The number of emails to me is nearly reaching saturation point and I'm struggling! I'm getting 100s which is lovely in a way but killing me in another.
The main problem is the length of some of them, indeed some run to the length of novels, so, please, help save my eyes and please keep mails to under 150 words.. you can do it! It's close to the stage where I am going to have to say I will answer all mails but those over 200 words will get deleted. Keep them short and sweet, please!!
Also, it's possible the answer you seek from me is already in FAQ's. And do remember I can't discuss individual shares with you as it would be classified as investment advice which I'm not authorised to give.
Many of you enjoy the cheap advfn toplists bronze deal through me as do many of you with the cheap level 2. However many of you say you want a half-way house to include real-time share prices always on.
So I'm pleased to announce I've managed to seal a new deal with Advfn for its "Silver" service - that's always on real-time share prices for a good saving (Bronze toplists etc are included in this).
The deal is via me you can save £30 for your first year by paying just £138.06 inc vat via me instead of £167.47.
Just mail me for full details if you'd like it with "silver" in the subject line.

They've just re-published "The Zulu Principle" by Jim Slater who's written a 2008 update at the beginning.
This is a brilliant classic book. Reading this is a real pleasure and it was a great idea to republish.
Jim believes like I do the best gains can come from smaller stocks and in an easy to read style takes you through how to evaluate smaller companies that are about to become bigger ones - he uses some excellent examples.
Really this is a must read for all more longer-term investors or anyone looking to grow their money... a number of you have also written to me about this book and praising it.
Here is the link to buy it:

Here's a very topical one: The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets by Peter Schiff.
The book is all about how to keep portfolios up in a down market. He focusses a lot on how to play commodities and win with some sensible advice especially on natural resources and precious metals. He is very much a realist and there is no rubbish here: some straight talking and some interesting strategies.
Everyone who invests should think seriously about keeping portfolios up in bad times so this book should be read.
Well worth picking up at this link:

Several people have asked me for a recommendation on a book which shows how to study accounts in a reasonably easy way. The one I like the most is http://books.global-investor.com/books/15717.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Robert Leach. Ten crunch questions to ask before buying any company.
It' s a decent easy-to-read book with several key chapters and it's highly recommended. It's one I keep and dip into from time to time. To order, click this link... http://books.global-investor.com/books/15717.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
The best book on charting and easiest read on the subject is http://books.global-investor.com/books/15618.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Alistair Blair. Click here -> http://books.global-investor.com/books/15618.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
Another good one is the second edition of http://books.global-investor.com/books/23792.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Peter Temple. Included in this one is how to use spreadbetting, CFD's warrants and trackers to reduce risk. And there are some decent trading strategies too.
This is an excellent book for new investors and also experienced ones. It explains all the things you may not be sure about in the markets and will explain the tools that are there. Naked Trader Seminar Latest News

**** BOOKING FOR MONDAY DEC 13TH AT HEATHROW NOW OPEN**
(NOVEMBER 26TH SEMINAR NOW SOLD OUT - SORRY)
Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is still open for the Naked Trader Xmas seminar on Monday December 13th

Price is £495 plus vat. However right now there is a generous early bookers discount!
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards! You might even get to see the amazing crocodile boots . . . .
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Still a massive response coming in for the sensational 1 point indices spread offer plus £250 cash back on losses - my mail box continues to be full of enquires - don't miss out!

£100 Tradefair offer

I've started using Tradefair for spreadbetting - I like the auto generated stop losses which help to maintain discipline and that's good for beginners I think. And exclusively for Naked Trader readers they upped the offer to £100 credit.
So there's now a £100 credit on offer for anyone opening an account via me. You get that after 5 spreadbets (terms and conditions apply)

Naked Rambling

Ed Milliband was back from leave for PMQs today. Pretty poor and I can't see Labour winning under him. I wonder whether there will be a different leader by the time of the next election.
Labour is trying to rebuild but doesn't seem to have any policies yet a "blank sheet". Be interesting to see how it develops.
The bloke who ran out of posh restaurants without paying has been told to, er pay them back... erm, well, when he can (he has £15,000 of debt) - oh and he is banned from 5 postcodes!
What sort of message does this give out?
Surely punishment should have been washing up and cleaning for all the restaurants he duped until the debt is paid off?
Thanks to the royals, a bank holiday double weekend is coming next year.
Yes Willie and Kate are doing the deed on April 29th (well let's hope they have enough puff left after the wedding).
We will have just about got back from Disneyland Florida by then so I'm looking to see if we can extend our holiday.
Not that I wish the lovely couple any ill will. It's just that I personally find royal weddings totally tedious and I would rather stick my head in a bucket of cold wet fish than watch it all.
I'm not the greatest fan of I'm A Celebrity but the Gillian McKeith moments have been hilarious with the live faint having me rolling on the floor.
Nigel Havers reluctance to get a shock but more that he was worried his wife would think he looked like a prat was enough to send him home.
I think the older you are the harder it probably is in there. But the producers are lucky with McKeith because without her it could have been a bore fest.
Some of the contestants may as well not be there at all - like Aggro Santos - a nice kid who makes decent dance music but "Aggro" he certainly isn't. Alison Hammond is going to jar on nerves but mainly the rest are pretty tame.
Another great Ann Widdicombe moment on Strictly! Who would ever guess Ann would ever turn out to be so entertaining. Vote to keep her in!!
The Apprentice looks like must viewing again tonight along of course with Mad Men!
The BBC has announced its xmas schedule. I'll be in South Africa thank goodness. The Two Ronnies? Re-make of Only Fools and Horses? And oh no, please not the Vicar of Dibley...
You'll find me by the pool on Xmas Day, far away from Xmas TV!
Oh, don't miss the brilliant Peep Show, it's back on Friday.Consistently fab.
The spreadbetting firm I use for sports betting is here:
Via this link Open a Sporting Index account and there's £100 cash on offer) please check terms and conditions which apply.

http://www.sportingindex.com/?tpid=6755
Do remember if you do bet you ought to treat sports spreadbetting as entertainment - and expect to lose! Also with spreadbetting work out what your max loss could be and make sure you can afford it! In other words if you say backed the favourite at 15 for a fiver and they come nowhere your max loss is £75.

Naked Mail

Phil writes :
Having Read your books, followed your recommended reading lists and attended your seminar....

I have to say, I unreservedly agreed with all your teachings/strategy and now follow them to the letter...except one area... the impact of the "Bid Offer Spread"....

My thinking was that- it does Not really matter- the different between 3% & 8% etc.... if you find a good buy.

Now I have began buying/trading, I completely agree with your thinking on this area.... they have a far bigger impact than I thought... especially when investing at c£3k each time.... and immediately seeing how much I was down on the purchase.

Lesson learned....the hard way!..hah hah.

Glad you like my stuff! Yes, it does matter over time and it's always best if possible to try and get the price when the spread is small as I hopefully showed live at the seminar..... often the worst time to buy is at 8am when the spread can be way too much.

Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.

The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.

I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!

Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!

Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Mike writes:
I would just like to thank you again for the great time at the follow up seminar and would like to report that thanks to your methods of teaching I have completely changed my investing style and since my first seminar a while back my fund is now nicely up which is a complete turn around from my day trading the FTSE days!

Mike glad to hear of continued success! It does take time to figure out what works for you. Some can make money day trading but it isn't for everyone and investing can be easier for some, including myself.

Terry writes:
Fantastic seminar.

I have always been sceptical of the public testaments you see on web sites
saying how great an event was. Now I'm one of those people!. I
genuinely believe that the tips and techniques as well as the overall
approach you demonstrated will radically improve my trading performance

Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!
John writes:
Thanks for a great seminar last Friday, everyone I spoke to enjoyed it and marvelled at how you kept going so long; you certainly gave value for money.

If the seminar taught me anything it was how to trade in a more professional and detached manner. I realise up till now I was just playing at it.

Thank you once again for a fantastic day that will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Thanks John, though my wife sometimes complains I go on for too long.....

Markets

Well, don't say I didn't already tell you markets would fall this week as they always do in the days leading up to my November seminar!
I can't remember a year when this didn't happen. What is it about late November? Maybe traders are depressed - Xmas is too far away and the weather sucks.
Although I never expected those c**** that run North Korea to rattle their sabre. It's all they have I guess. Sad though and I feel very sorry for the people living in the South Korean capital who must be worried about it.
But after the falls the markets are fighting back very well today after digesting the Irish and Korea news and they move up strongly today.
It's thanksgiving day tomorrow which means there is no Dow on Thursday at all and only half day on Friday which means the FTSE should be quiet and directionless tomorrow and possibly on Friday too.
I still would like a bit of downside now into December could see a lovely Santa Claus rally from mid December.
I bought some Ocean Wilsons (OCN), 500 shares at 1308. I like the fundamentals on this one but even better the chart looks like a rocket that's taken off and it doesn't look like exploding just yet so I'm in for a hopeful another quid or so Target 1450 stop 1220.
I bought 30,000 Innovation (TIG) at 13.45 - it's been touted as a bid target for a long time and indeed looks like it'll happen sooner or later. There's been some volume going through recently so just taking a position for now in case it happens (at last). Target 16 stop 12.75.
I shorted Wincanton (WIN) - it has a big debt and it can't get through 200. I shorted for £20 a point at 192. Target 160 stop 205. It moves quite slowly so should be easy to get out with a small loss if it doesn't work out.
I also shorted Rightmove (RMV) for a fiver at 757.... met a top estate agent over the weekend who said the London market was "dead". If that's dead the rest must be worse. So that can't be good for Rightmove. However it does have a lot of cash and is buying back shares so if there is a fall it will probably be gentle.
Target 680 stop 780.
Considering the market fell off a cliff I'm delighted most of the portfolio survived with mainly minimal falls, a lot of nothing happening and even one or two risers.
With tons of big profits on paper I am loathe really to take them just now as that could be a mistake ahead of what could be a good December rally.
Please note when I talk about the following share I have been an independent distributor for them since 1998 and therefore anything I write is likely to be extremely biased in favour, so bear that in mind!
Long-term hold Telecom Plus (TEP) reported pleasing figures with a massive rise in profit, plenty of cash and a good outlook. Energy prices are set to rise too which will be another bonus.
But the most exciting part of the statement was rather hidden. It's entering the TV market soon and it will be delivering TV as well as broadband, phone, mobile and energy all on one bill. And it says it can fund the investment needed to get into TV from current resources.
To me, this is an amazing share to put away and forget about, enjoy the massive dividend and wait for the massive growth that I suspect is to come. I first bought at 18p, 82p and 120p so at 400p I am already very happy and the website trades are in profit by more than £20,000 !
If I didn't already have a massive amount of shares (Around £150ks) I would be topping up around this 400 area
Carclo reported a decent set of figures but the best news is that commercialisation of its new product is underway. The share remains under the radar - however when it emerges from the radar it is going to jump and 2011 could be a big year for the share with a potential double in store.
Yule Catto is picking up again after a recent dive.
BTG has dipped again following the purchase of Biocompatibles. Can't see why.
Porvair with another contact win announced looks about to tackle 100, terrific!
Exillon Energy stayed nicely put in the melee and the market seems to like it, a rise through 300 looks on the cards. It's increased its daily production rate by over 200% and is expected to massively increase production even further next month. Looks good for further rises in time.
Recent buy Bioquel remains nice and calm a bit higher than when I bought it and . Judged on this, looks like a good chance of this one getting back up to the 150p area. Commercialisation of its new product looks like it has a decent chance and could be worth a lot of money, with submission now made to the regulators.
The recent Cineworld top up on weakness has paid off well so far!
888 Group is now on the rise after decent figures from Sporting Bet. Entertainment One consolidates after recent rises, patience should pay there. .
The brilliant Volex holds nicely around 320. I've doubled on the original lots I bought in the low 100s and in a really super profit of over £13,000.
Superstar Oiler Bowleven (BLVN) has got nicely through the 300 mark today with profit takers having done their stuff. .The recent statement was a decent find and there is some talk about it being the next Tullow - well that is just talk but it would be nice
Recent top up Devro proved good timing as it's already climbed 10% since I bought! It has also for the moment gone through the previous sticky area ..
Spreadbet Centamin is back in profit though very volatile. Gamble Orosur Mining is on the rise again after dipping on profit taking.
Long termer Heritage is heading back higher today. The Vitec Group is heading back up nicely and is trying to crack the 550 mark - been brilliant so far. Aggreko rises after a couple of downdays - I shall carry on holding - still up 400 points and may top up if it weakens any more.
Davis Services Group short is now making good progress and has been drifting down, it seems to be forming a base below 400 and could be more downside to come. .
My big long-term trebler Dialight is back in demand again. Those of you who came to one of the seminars might remember be buying that live at 140ish - now nearly 450!
Splendid profits now in African Aura, it raised estimates again this week - it will split into two companies next year which looks a good move. It's up a little in a down market.
Hyder produced a decent statement this week and I remain a holder and in good profits. And there is a bid possible in there for nothing. It's been rising all week.
Xp Power consolidates its recent big gains and tries to leave a tenner behind today. I bought this one at 164 a year and a half ago and it's now around a tenner with a profit of £13,000 plus. It goes to show if you can hold the good ones for a bit and resist the take profits temptation it can pay off big time!
.Lovely Petrofac didn't give back too much in the melee and remains a core hold.. Together with spinoff Enquest sees me sitting on profits way in excess of £25,000. Of course it's volatile but a strong uptrend remains intact. 1500p seems a tough nut for it to crack at the mo though.
Spirent has doubled for me and there recent top up is in profit. It is trying to stick above 140..
Nestor produced a decent interim statement this week and still says it is in talks with the AA. My goodness I have never known bid talks to take so long but I hope they settle on 110-120. Maybe they will settle at 115. I just wish they would get on with it! My profits currently are well over £20,000. Worth holding to see what happens.
Mulberry continues to rise after results with the spreadbet up nearly £5,000 now - indeed it has doubled and with Mrs NT and friends continuing to buy their handbags and boots there I continue to hold! So thanks again for this one to Mrs NT for Mulberry bags and boots appearing at home was a big buy signal and B) - thanks to the ladies at the July seminar for agreeing Mulberry was the hot place for the ladies to be.
I've been getting e-mails regarding my use of direct market access and who I use. I've tried a few and for me the easiest system for me is here:
http://www.igmarkets.co.uk/?QPID=1079&QPPID=1
Direct market access means you can place orders directly onto the order book bypassing brokers and market-makers with a chance to buy at the "sell" price. I would suggest you ensure you know what you're doing first but IG does provide much education with its "tradesense" educational tool which comes with it.
I also use its spreadbetting service too along with other firms like Tradefair because it now provides trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Link is here: -
http://www.igindex.co.uk/?QPID=1078&QPPID=1
that also includes a pretty decent educational programme. As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are.

£100 Tradefair offer

I've also started using Tradefair for spreadbetting - I like the auto generated stop losses which help to maintain discipline and that's good for beginners I think. And exclusively for Naked Trader readers they upped the offer to £100 credit.
So there's now a £100 credit on offer for anyone opening an account via me. You get that after 5 spreadbets (terms and conditions apply).

Telecom Plus Offer

Want to quit the rat race? Try and start a new source of income so one day you can tell the boss to stuff it? You could do what I did to escape my grotty office job and become an independent distributor for the Utilities Discount Warehouse.
You get to sell great broadband, phone packages and energy to friends, relatives, contacts and anyone else you find and you get cash for each sale but more importantly you get a cut of their spend EVERY MONTH for as long as they are a customer!
It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!
Not only do you get paid out every month for each customer you can take on distributors. encourage them like I do and get paid on their sales as well.
One day, say you could made redundant, needed a year off or wanted to retire early can you imagine what joy it is to have the regular income coming in. It's wonderful.
You have to work at it, but if you do genuine repeat wealth could be yours. I did it. You can too. For full details, why not email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com.

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time.
Trades first reported Weds and Fri afternoons under "Markets" section.. afraid I can't do live trades as that would turn me into a tipster and I'd have to be regulated!
