** Note to those of you booked in for both next week's and Xmas seminar - you should all have the venue details now... if you are booked in and did not get them please mail me! And all of you coming to the Nov 26th event next week you should have had your details ages ago, again let me know if you don't have them.**

Happy sixth birthday to my son Christopher today!
We've had a fun morning opening presents.
We got him lots of small things to open and he's very excited to be six. He hasn't had time to play with any of them yet except "Octopus" which we played before school.
The cleaner who is crazy about him got him a massive present! So lots of playing later and I am looking forwards to tucking into his Ben 10 birthday cake.
I can hardly believe he is six but thank goodness. After the sad death of our daughter a long time ago (older readers will remember the terrible time) and the time a couple of years ago when we thought he was going to die in hospital we are just overjoyed to have such a wonderful child. He's a constant source of joy to us.
Where does the time go? It's also a reminder to us life is short and you just have to get out there and enjoy what it has to offer before it's gone. Happy birthday to Christopher and many more to come!
We're getting bored ordering food online from Ocado.
(And slightly guilty given I'm shorting Ocado). It's just that we keep ordering the same stuff because it's easy but we end up making the same meals.
So I got on my bike and went out shopping instead. Mrs NT has discovered an excellent independent food place - and it does great food. A massive salad box - delicious - at just £4. Very nice.
Went round a few other shops and bought things I'd never have bought online.
Ended up finally in Marks. But I didn't buy anything. Why? Because in this branch they are trialling "self service tills".
This insidious way of shops cutting staff and making us scan our own shopping is creeping up. Refuse!!!!
As you try and pay now someone tries to direct you to the self-service. Why the hell would I? I want them to do it! And maybe I want a bit of personal interaction too.
Why would I want to have to scan my own items, sort out the bag and then have the till yelling at me and ordering me about?
This is just the start. I expect in ten years the moment you pick something off the shelf it will get billed directly to your credit card. No more staff. Depressing!
Being bald now it's cold I need a woolly hat. But I lose them all the time - leave them at restaurants, drop them, or the cleaner gets her hands on them for the car boot sales.
I like buying good quality stuff but they are costing me £100 a time.
I had enough and went to Primark and bought 10 hats at £2 each. Now I will always have one and they keep out the cold fine. Oh and same with gloves, I bought ten of those too for £1 each. They work fine as well.
The place is packed. Not only that "posh" people shop there too. Of course getting out of Primark is the problem as they're not hot on the tills.
Indeed I got the trainee. And I made the mistake of paying with cash. No-one except me pays with cash at Primark. It's all on the never never.
Which meant he owed me 50p in change but froze when he realised there wasn't any change at all in the till. I knew this was going to lead to a massive delay. So I said brightly "keep the change", grabbed my stuff before it would take him hours to find a bag and ran for it.
Then I remember whenever I leave Primark I feel crazily guilty. How can the prices be so low? It has to be slave labour of some kind? Doesn't it? Is someone suffering because some wealthy

like me wants ten wooly hats because he is so careless he loses them all the time?
So I gave my usual £20 to the Big Issue guy. But I don't think that has cancelled out the guilt. Hang on though, if Primark didn't exist maybe the people making the clothes wouldn't have jobs and they'd be in an even worse position. Maybe I was doing good. Yes, that's it I was doing good....
Tom Jones has offered to the singing at the Royal wedding.
I can imagine the Queen's face when he gets going.
"Sex bomb, you're my sex bomb, you can give it to me when I need to come along.. and baby you can turn me on..."
Yikes!
I can suggest some different singers for them. How's about about Tammy Wynette? She could sing "D.I.V.O.R.C.E"
And how's about Candi Staton, she could do "What's the sense in sharing this one and only life, ending up just another lost and lonely wife...."
Don't forget my special commerative Willie and Kate plates which are available at just £99.99 each! Order now to avoid disappointment!!
I get quite a few mails asking what magazines or news services I subscribe to etc. Well, hardly any! I get the Investors Chronicle delivered.
However I do subscribe (£7.99 a month though take the yearly option at 20% discount to that) to a daily email which is my main source of news about such things as broker upgrades, main news items, analysis of stocks and markets, forthcoming company statements and events, stock recommendations and targets from the top brokers, what kind of earnings expected from companies and a whole heap more useful stuff.
I sometimes get ideas from this for companies to watch or monitor or even buy. And it's handy to get a summary of what the brokers are saying and looking at future earnings etc.
It usually arrives around 5ish every day.
I contacted the people that put it together and they offer a free 14 day trial of it to my readers - so you can cancel after 14 days if you don't feel it's useful enough.
Once you cut and paste this link into your browser, click "uk 14 days free trial" then I would go "yearly option" which gives a 20% discount making it just over £6 a month, as you can still cancel seems worth it. Hope you find it useful like I do. It's one of the few paid for news services that has really impressed.

Thanks for the continued feedback on the last seminar. I'm really glad to read some of you are already using some of the techniques I showed you.

So if you missed out on Nov 26th this seminar don't despair!

My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.
A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!

**I'm now taking bookings for the technical analysis seminar on Sat Dec 4th with top trader Susan Marmor and myself. Learn to take the emotion out of trading by using simple TA techniques... you must have been to a previous seminar of mine to qualify unless you can persuade me you are already a reasonably experienced trader... Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "TA seminar interested" in the subject line.

An interesting email from a reader. The thrust of it was he was going to buy a share after doing a lot of research but then it went up 12% and he hadn't bought it yet. So he felt angry.
How does he stop/halt the feelings of anger?
Well, you have to take the emotion out of trading. Which isn't easy.
I suggested he should read this book.. by Jason Zweig
http://books.global-investor.com/books/256158.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
This is the one to read on psychology. Great read.

Spreadbetting firm Tradefair Spreads has upped its offer exclusively to Naked Trader readers to a £100 credit. This offer is exclusive to me and not available anywhere else...
I've been using them for a few weeks to check that I'm happy with the service. As you know I don't take ads or allow referrals on the site unless it's a company I've used and I feel confident about.
What I like about it is it's easy to use, spreads are surprisingly tight on the smaller companies and interestingly an automated stop loss is applied to each trade - so beginners know what their max loss is from the outset.
Anyway they now offer a £100 credit as long as you deposit £100. You get the credit after you placed 5 trades (Terms and conditions apply)
If you'd like to apply for an account with Tradefair Spreads and get the freebie click this link:

The number of emails to me is nearly reaching saturation point and I'm struggling! I'm getting 100s which is lovely in a way but killing me in another.
The main problem is the length of some of them, indeed some run to the length of novels, so, please, help save my eyes and please keep mails to under 150 words.. you can do it! It's close to the stage where I am going to have to say I will answer all mails but those over 200 words will get deleted. Keep them short and sweet, please!!
Also, it's possible the answer you seek from me is already in FAQ's. And do remember I can't discuss individual shares with you as it would be classified as investment advice which I'm not authorised to give.
Many of you enjoy the cheap advfn toplists bronze deal through me as do many of you with the cheap level 2. However many of you say you want a half-way house to include real-time share prices always on.
So I'm pleased to announce I've managed to seal a new deal with Advfn for its "Silver" service - that's always on real-time share prices for a good saving (Bronze toplists etc are included in this).
The deal is via me you can save £30 for your first year by paying just £138.06 inc vat via me instead of £167.47.
Just mail me for full details if you'd like it with "silver" in the subject line.

They've just re-published "The Zulu Principle" by Jim Slater who's written a 2008 update at the beginning.
This is a brilliant classic book. Reading this is a real pleasure and it was a great idea to republish.
Jim believes like I do the best gains can come from smaller stocks and in an easy to read style takes you through how to evaluate smaller companies that are about to become bigger ones - he uses some excellent examples.
Really this is a must read for all more longer-term investors or anyone looking to grow their money... a number of you have also written to me about this book and praising it.
Here is the link to buy it:

Here's a very topical one: The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets by Peter Schiff.
The book is all about how to keep portfolios up in a down market. He focusses a lot on how to play commodities and win with some sensible advice especially on natural resources and precious metals. He is very much a realist and there is no rubbish here: some straight talking and some interesting strategies.
Everyone who invests should think seriously about keeping portfolios up in bad times so this book should be read.
Well worth picking up at this link:

Several people have asked me for a recommendation on a book which shows how to study accounts in a reasonably easy way. The one I like the most is http://books.global-investor.com/books/15717.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Robert Leach. Ten crunch questions to ask before buying any company.
It' s a decent easy-to-read book with several key chapters and it's highly recommended. It's one I keep and dip into from time to time. To order, click this link... http://books.global-investor.com/books/15717.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
The best book on charting and easiest read on the subject is http://books.global-investor.com/books/15618.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Alistair Blair. Click here -> http://books.global-investor.com/books/15618.htm?ginPtrCode=10453
Another good one is the second edition of http://books.global-investor.com/books/23792.htm?ginPtrCode=10453 by Peter Temple. Included in this one is how to use spreadbetting, CFD's warrants and trackers to reduce risk. And there are some decent trading strategies too.
This is an excellent book for new investors and also experienced ones. It explains all the things you may not be sure about in the markets and will explain the tools that are there. Naked Trader Seminar Latest News

**** BOOKING FOR MONDAY DEC 13TH AT HEATHROW NOW OPEN**
(NOVEMBER 26TH SEMINAR NOW SOLD OUT - SORRY)
Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is still open for the Naked Trader Xmas seminar on Monday December 13th

Price is £495 plus vat. However right now there is a generous early bookers discount!
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards! You might even get to see the amazing crocodile boots . . . .
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Exclusive One Point Spread, £250 Cashback Offer

Still a massive response coming in for the sensational 1 point indices spread offer plus £250 cash back on losses - my mail box continues to be full of enquires - don't miss out!
I have arranged a deal with a spreadbet company that gives you just ONE POINT spreads on all the major indices and very tight spreads on everything else. A one point spread is just amazing and you can use it on the FTSE, DOW, Nikkei etc...
Not only that, I can offer those of you interested a fantastic £250 cash back on any realised spreadbet losses made within your first 8 weeks. That means you get back any losses up to £250 which could come in extremely handy.

£100 Tradefair offer

I've started using Tradefair for spreadbetting - I like the auto generated stop losses which help to maintain discipline and that's good for beginners I think. And exclusively for Naked Trader readers they upped the offer to £100 credit.
So there's now a £100 credit on offer for anyone opening an account via me. You get that after 5 spreadbets (terms and conditions apply)

Naked Rambling

A broke filmmaker wined and dined a girlfriend at some of Britain's top restaurants "" then fled without paying.
Janis Nords, 27, racked up bills of between £222 and £1,331 as he carried out a string of "˜gourmet getaways' in a bid to impress a "˜high maintenance' blonde...

You would have thought the blonde in question might just have asked a few questions... like... "darling why do you always say at the end of the meal, let's get out of here fast?"

Looks like there is going to be a bank holiday for the wedding. That's no good to me! The gym and shops will be full and busy instead of nice and quiet for the workshy like me!

Another hilarious Apprentice with two, well, hilarious team leaders.
Stuart thinks he's the male eqivalent of Donald Trump already with an amazing arrogance.
Of course he came unstuck when claiming he didn't take notes because he could remember everything in his head. He thought 30-years-old was really too old for a woman to be in business, he told them about his amazing success with business and really, just his amazing talent.
Which never showed of course. He upset his team who to be fair took is nonsense on the chin.
On the other team Lord A had already decided to get rid of Sandish so made her team leader. On hearing she was going to Pinewood she said she thought it must be a furniture store.
From then on she displayed no talent for anything whatsoever except some strange face movement which expressed surprise most of the time.
We needn't really have bothered with the boardroom scene as Sandish was obviously going to go. Of course Liz was told quickly. I can't fire you Liz because.... I'm crazy about you.... I mean I could do with more totty about the office, whoops I mean you have performed well in other tasks...."
If there is anything this episode told you is: do not get involved with a DVD experience business. It's pants!
And Mad Men continues to be the best thing on TV by a long chalk. (Which is why the BBC show it at a silly time slot on a distant channel).
Hurrah! My France to win bet came up trumps and got a nice £50 on at 4-1 though I lost £20 on a back up 0-0 draw bet.
Can Fulham beat Man City on Sunday? Just maybe .. a 1-0 win at 10/1 tempts!
The spreadbetting firm I use for sports betting is here:
Via this link Open a Sporting Index account and there's £100 cash on offer) please check terms and conditions which apply.

http://www.sportingindex.com/?tpid=6755
Do remember if you do bet you ought to treat sports spreadbetting as entertainment - and expect to lose! Also with spreadbetting work out what your max loss could be and make sure you can afford it! In other words if you say backed the favourite at 15 for a fiver and they come nowhere your max loss is £75.

Phil writes :
Having Read your books, followed your recommended reading lists and attended your seminar....

I have to say, I unreservedly agreed with all your teachings/strategy and now follow them to the letter...except one area... the impact of the "Bid Offer Spread"....

My thinking was that- it does Not really matter- the different between 3% & 8% etc.... if you find a good buy.

Now I have began buying/trading, I completely agree with your thinking on this area.... they have a far bigger impact than I thought... especially when investing at c£3k each time.... and immediately seeing how much I was down on the purchase.

Lesson learned....the hard way!..hah hah.

Glad you like my stuff! Yes, it does matter over time and it's always best if possible to try and get the price when the spread is small as I hopefully showed live at the seminar..... often the worst time to buy is at 8am when the spread can be way too much.

Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.

The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.

I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!

Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!

Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Mike writes:
I would just like to thank you again for the great time at the follow up seminar and would like to report that thanks to your methods of teaching I have completely changed my investing style and since my first seminar a while back my fund is now nicely up which is a complete turn around from my day trading the FTSE days!

Mike glad to hear of continued success! It does take time to figure out what works for you. Some can make money day trading but it isn't for everyone and investing can be easier for some, including myself.

Terry writes:
Fantastic seminar.

I have always been sceptical of the public testaments you see on web sites
saying how great an event was. Now I'm one of those people!. I
genuinely believe that the tips and techniques as well as the overall
approach you demonstrated will radically improve my trading performance

Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!
John writes:
Thanks for a great seminar last Friday, everyone I spoke to enjoyed it and marvelled at how you kept going so long; you certainly gave value for money.

If the seminar taught me anything it was how to trade in a more professional and detached manner. I realise up till now I was just playing at it.

Thank you once again for a fantastic day that will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Thanks John, though my wife sometimes complains I go on for too long.....

Markets

Well, the back end of November continues to be challenging as it always is... plenty of volatility, nervousness, fear and greed... yes it's all there.
So I'd expect a lot of heavy ups and downs for the next couple of weeks. Indeed it was well up yesterday and well down today.
The one thing really is short-term a lot of us probably would like the market to go sideways or a little down hopefully not affecting our stocks too much because if that's what it does it sets up a nice big rally into Xmas up to 6.200 ish.
But if it went up much more now that may not happen. Funny old things, markets aren't they?
And if there is one good short signal for next week it's that I have a seminar coming up next Friday. And almost inevitably shares go down in the days up to my November seminar. Every year! And every year seminar day has proved a good time to buy as the markets start to rise!
Not an awful lot to report over the last couple of days and generally been taking it easy and, erm, helping my new six-year-old to play with his new toys he got for his birthday....
However I made one or two spreadbets, all spreadbets this time as the Isas are fully cashed up.
I've had a great run with Yule Catto (YULC) which unexpectedly dipped and as I signalled I was about to add on the weakness so I added some more at 237 for £10 to add to the spreadbets and normal trades already held lower down. Target 270 stop 228.
My old mate Fenner (FENR) - made a substantial sum on this about 2-3 years ago has been looking mighty strong after results and wish I had got in sooner. Oh well, better late than never and grabbed £20 yesterday at 291. Target 340 stop 280. Certainly looks a great turnaround story.
I've been a long term holder of BTG (BGC),picking them up at 143 and 160 then seeing them hit 250. They fell heavily this morning on news they are taking over Biocompatibles - the fall looked well over done to me so I picked some up for £20 at a smidgeon under 225. Looks like a good fit to me and happy to be patient here, I would have thought they would slowly head back up to 250. target 250 stop 210.
I've unexpectedly sold half my Ocado short at 139 - I got an email telling me it was stopped out. I thought "huh?" then realised last night I raised some stops up and looks like I raised this one a tad too much.. Oh well, I still hold the other half of the bet and the stop on that is miles away. Anyhow it locks in a profit of £1,030. I still don't think much of Ocado and will probably reshort it if it goes higher.
My short-term short idea in Ultra proved a winner and it hit my target. Which sounds good. Um, well except I never took it and instead let it get away and got stopped out on the tight stop for a loss of £100. Shows what kind of rubbish short-term trader I would be!
That's a total profit banked today of £930.
Star of the day goes to Porvair with another contact win announced. It's heading up to 100, terrific!
Exillon Energy produced a very decent statement today and the market seems to like it, a rise through 300 looks on the cards. It's increased its daily production rate by over 200% and is expected to massively increase production even further next month. Looks good for further rises in time.
Also recent buy Bioquel (BQE) gave an update today. Judged on this, looks like a good chance of this one getting back up to the 150p area. Commercialisation of its new product looks like it has a decent chance and could be worth a lot of money, with submission now made to the regulators. Life sciences is doing well in Asia and it is winning defence contracts. So all in all looks a share to stay with - any new contract announcement could see big gains all of a sudden. It's been gradually going higher and marked up today.
Looks like also there was a huge buy in Bioquel today of a million shares - and plenty of other keen buyers too.
The recent Cineworld top up on weakness has paid off well so far!
888 Group has done nothing for me so far but it's tucked away hoping for a bid! Entertainment One consolidates after recent rises, patience should pay there. .
The brilliant Volex holds nicely around 320. I've doubled on the original lots I bought in the low 100s and in a really super profit of over £13,000.
Superstar Oiler Bowleven (BLVN) is trying again to get through 300 today with profit takers having done their stuff. .The recent statement was a decent find and there is some talk about it being the next Tullow - well that is just talk but it would be nice
Recent top up Devro proved good timing as it's already climbed 10% since I bought! It has also for the moment gone through the previous sticky area ..
Spreadbet Centamin is back in profit though very volatlie.
Gamble Orosur Mining is on the rise again after dipping on profit taking.
Long termer Heritage ia heading back higher today. The Vitec Group is heading back up nicely. Aggreko is down but looks like profit taking after a good ride as the statement was cracking - I shall carry on holding - still up 400 points and may top up if it weakens any more. Chime produced a decent statement this week.
Davis Services Group short is now making good progress and has been drifting down - it does seem to find support at around 400 but if it falls below that looks like 20p more downside for the taking.
My big long-term trebler Dialight is back in demand again. Those of you who came to one of the seminars might remember be buying that live at 140ish - now nearly 450!
Splendid profits now in African Aura, it raised estimates again this week - it will split into two companies next year which looks a good move. It's up a little in a down market.
Hyder produced a decent statement this week and I remain a holder and in good profits. And there is a bid possible in there for nothing.
Xp Power consolidates its recent big gains and tries to heave a tenner behind today. I bought this one at 164 a year and a half ago and it's now around a tenner with a profit of £13,000 plus. It goes to show if you can hold the good ones for a bit and resist the take profits temptation it can pay off big time!
.Lovely Petrofac didn't give back too much in the melee and remains a core hold.. Together with spinoff Enquest sees me sitting on profits way in excess of £25,000. Of course it's volatile but a strong uptrend remains intact.
Spirent has doubled for me and there recent top up is in profit. It is trying to stick above 140..
Nestor produced a decent interim statement this week and still says it is in talks with the AA. My goodness I have never known bid talks to take so long but I hope they settle on 110-120. Maybe they will settle at 115. I just wish they would get on with it! My profits currently are well over £20,000. Worth holding to see what happens.
Mulberry continues to rise after results with the spreadbet up nearly £5,000 now - indeed it has doubled and with Mrs NT and friends continuing to buy their handbags and boots there I continue to hold! So thanks again for this one to Mrs NT for Mulberry bags and boots appearing at home was a big buy signal and B) - thanks to the ladies at the July seminar for agreeing Mulberry was the hot place for the ladies to be.
I've been getting e-mails regarding my use of direct market access and who I use. I've tried a few and for me the easiest system for me is here:
http://www.igmarkets.co.uk/?QPID=1079&QPPID=1
Direct market access means you can place orders directly onto the order book bypassing brokers and market-makers with a chance to buy at the "sell" price. I would suggest you ensure you know what you're doing first but IG does provide much education with its "tradesense" educational tool which comes with it.
I also use its spreadbetting service too along with other firms like Tradefair because it now provides trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Link is here: -
http://www.igindex.co.uk/?QPID=1078&QPPID=1
that also includes a pretty decent educational programme. As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are.

£100 Tradefair offer

I've also started using Tradefair for spreadbetting - I like the auto generated stop losses which help to maintain discipline and that's good for beginners I think. And exclusively for Naked Trader readers they upped the offer to £100 credit.
So there's now a £100 credit on offer for anyone opening an account via me. You get that after 5 spreadbets (terms and conditions apply).

Telecom Plus Offer

Want to quit the rat race? Try and start a new source of income so one day you can tell the boss to stuff it? You could do what I did to escape my grotty office job and become an independent distributor for the Utilities Discount Warehouse.
You get to sell great broadband, phone packages and energy to friends, relatives, contacts and anyone else you find and you get cash for each sale but more importantly you get a cut of their spend EVERY MONTH for as long as they are a customer!
It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!
Not only do you get paid out every month for each customer you can take on distributors. encourage them like I do and get paid on their sales as well.
One day, say you could made redundant, needed a year off or wanted to retire early can you imagine what joy it is to have the regular income coming in. It's wonderful.
You have to work at it, but if you do genuine repeat wealth could be yours. I did it. You can too. For full details, why not email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com.
An overview is also available at http://www.telecomplus.org.uk/fabdeal you can sign up directly there but do tell me!

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time.
Trades first reported Weds and Fri afternoons under "Markets" section.. afraid I can't do live trades as that would turn me into a tipster and I'd have to be regulated!
