I'm very flattered : Bookings for the seminar on Dec 4th are very high, and despite adding an extra row at current booking rates it is heading for a very early sell out.
So if you really want to come don't leave it much longer. My guess is a sell out sometime in the next 14 days and it is the only one I am doing for the rest of this year.
Also I am getting tight for space on the follow up on the 11th. There are some regulars not yet booked, and there are only 6 seats left there. I would hate to disappoint those of you who always come, you know who you are!
Tonight we are off to see the band Clean Bandit at the Hammersmith Apollo. It's the first proper gig that Christopher will ever have seen outside of summer music festivals.
Won't be much longer till he would be way too embarrassed to go to a gig with his parents! Anyway we hope it's a good one, Rockabye Baby and all that.
Thing I hate about gigs is figuring out when the main band starts. Doors open 7pm. Do we turn up at 8pm? Or 9pm?
I'm going to go for 8.15pm, after all it is a weeknight. Last gig we saw at the Apollo was the Chemical Brothers who were brilliant though the best I ever saw there was Mark Ronson.
Talking of the Apollo, on the way back from the Fulham home game on Saturday we came across what looked like a refugee camp under Hammersmith Bridge.
Loads of people with sleeping bags and blankets. All over the place. What on earth? Was it a political protest? A march? It couldn't be for the band that night "The Australian Pink Floyd".
I asked one of the people with a sleeping bag. "We're queuing for the Harry Styles concert tomorrow night" he says. I asked whether he would get a ticket ok.
"Oh no," he said. "We've got tickets, we're all queuing to try and get right to the front. We've been here for three days...."
I'm sure it was worth it...
I'm not getting a lot of sleep at the moment thanks to the new kitten Jacob.
He is determined overnight the most comfy place is my head. No matter how I try and wriggle away he clings on.
Hopefully as he matures he'll find some different cosy places overnight... in the meantime having to make way for a lunchtime nap!
So me and my son went to Aston Villa for an away game, a treat for his birthday. No treat for me!
For a start it was the day of the storm... Got to Euston for the train (delayed of course). The train was rammed but got a couple of seats. Then another train from Birmingham New St.
I worked in Birmingham long ago and was a bit surprised that it seemed run down at least from the train window.
At the Villa it was windy and rainy - and cold! The stadium seemed slightly sad in that the team used to be near the top of the tree and has had some bad years. A lot of empty seats including a massive top tier that was totally shut.
I forgot to bring a hat. The away fans were either under 25 over 45. Obviously those between were too busy with kids and other responsibilities. On top of the wind and rain they all stood throughout the whole match.
There was no room and frankly it was like being stuck in a confined space having to breathe a mix of stale hot dog, crap junk food, massive farts and bad breath all melded together.
Due to the standing it wasn't easy to see the game and all I could think of was "at some point this will be over. I will be at home later tonight with a tea and twix in my hand."
Away fans are herded together like wild animals. My son disappeared at half time to enjoy the purile football chants. I mean honestly. Grown men singing about other grown men?
A lot of chants directed at John Terry, all of which were too abusive to write here but he has the last laugh. He's a multi millionaire! I reckon he could care less about what a few losers sing about him.
Anyway we lost 2-1. Getting away from the stadium was a nightmare with a massive queue to get on a train. The inevitable delays due to the storm to get home, eventually arriving at 9.30pm. Oh well, my son enjoyed it. If he thinks he is going to another away game anytime soon....
The Villa fans were friendly. Well, Brummies are on the whole. I always found that.
One Aston Villa fan I chatted to at the station told me proudly he'd been to every single game, home and away for 18 years. And guess what, he lives on the Isle of Wight. Go figure. I suppose it must be his life. On his days at the Villa he stays with friends in Coventry.
A lot of parents seem very happy that a long 2 week half term for many schools is over. Not that we don't love our kids but let's face it it's a long spell together!
Had a lovely birthday evening at probably my favourite restaurant Koji. It costs an arm and a leg but if you ever want to treat yourself, it's great.
Presents? Well that was the kitten and I also got a mug and my publisher sent me a naked trader biscuit tin stash box. Which has already proved useful.
It was good to meet so many lovely people at the last seminar. Just a really nice bunch - all of you work hard to get places and I hope I helped.
I didn't go as manic as usual late on as only had two Mr Whippys.
I couldn't believe how many of you were still there into the evening. I reckon if I hadn't cried enough when I did some of you would have been there till midnight.
Hazel you did very well not to tuck into that gin! Hope you enjoyed it when you got back home!
Five of you have already booked the follow up seminar on dec 11th so look forwards to seeing you again. If you missed the seminar next is Dec 4th see above or below for details.
Lovely feedback, looks like some of you had fun too, great senses of humour around.
Pat wrote: "I really enjoyed the day. Highlights were seeing you trade and how you did it.
I came looking for clarification on level 2 and spread betting
Both took me some time to get my head around but I think I now have it .
You do clearly enjoy the day and you are amazingly open about your trades and your methods. Although this mirrors the books I don't think there is any substitute for seeing it 1st hand."
Thanks Pat and to all - wish you all the best with your trading in the future.
If you missed this one next date is Dec 4th .Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested" in the subject line There is a giant early bird discount on offer.
(Follow up is Dec 11th).
Beginners and improvers welcome. Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch, lots of sugary snacks, and even live chocolate waffle making in the teabreak!
My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.
A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!
Here's some feedback from from "D"
'It's obvious from his site Robbie Burns is a good market analyst and shrewd stock-picker. He is also a highly opinionated commentator on everything from TV shows to food. Therefore I expected his seminar to be 75% entertainment, 15% general exposition for beginners and-- if we were lucky-- 10% of something I could use to help me invest. But I could not have been more wrong.
The opinions on food and politics etc. though genuine, are I believe a bit of disguise or misdirection for there is a real touch of rebel genius here. And in the seminar, which is 95% hardball, he actually takes you candidly right into the mental process involved in his successful trading, making it a pretty amazing display, even showing his own investment accounts right there on the screen. You can see at once why so many of us are merely stabbing in the dark with our investments.
This is a genuine coaching session in how to trade like him if you put in the graft. I have only bought one stock since, as I am waiting for the tools he recommends, but I got the price down by using his tactics and I cannot recommend the seminar too highly if you are going there to learn. It must be taxing on him to let us at such length and in such detail into the process, which has made him so much money (for--unlike so many other so-called experts the seminars are not a day job). My advice therefore would be to sign up for this while he is still prepared to do it.'
I love it the most getting mails from people who have spent a day with me some time ago and are doing well. This was very pleasing from Jason:
"I took part on one of your courses this summer and I wanted to send you a belated thank you. The next day I got myself Level 2 and sold all of my positions, most of them had losses, I then started to buy shares, some which we found on the course and others using the techniques you shared, the simplicity of your selection process surprised me but I also found it easy to apply. Within a couple of weeks I felt so much more at ease trading, I wasn't worried about my decisions anymore because I felt in control of each trade, I knew when to sell and when to hold on and I'm no longer anxious when I open my account because it's always in the plus.
When I signed up to your course my goal was to make 20% p.a., I've achieved that in less than six months. Your course was pretty much going to be my last attempt at trading, So once again thank you, it's by far the best money I've ever spent on trading education and probably on education full stop."
Thanks Jason but it is down to you, you applied the discipline needed and had the cuts to cut your losers.

Naked Trader Seminar Latest News
Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is open for the Naked Trader seminar on Dec 4th
Price is £690 plus vat. However there is decent early bird discount on offer. Mail me for details.
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards!
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Naked Rambling
I know you're not going to believe it but I'll tell you anyway. I was sexually harassed myself in my 20s!! (Many years ago obviously).
This girl just would not leave me alone. For months! The worst occasion was in a pub. I was sitting with work colleagues and next to me was my then "ladyfriend", who I worked with but our relationship was a secret.
Cue my stalker grabbing me, sitting on top of me, groping me... and saying "Come and have sex with me tonight, no strings attached...." Of course she had no idea she had a rival sitting next to me!
All my colleagues were in hysterics but actually I was a bit shaken by it.
Now imagine if I was a woman and that was a bloke. So I do get it. (The chances of me getting harassed again are now zero).
Problem is it's a generational thing. Older blokes were used to an environment where they could "come on" to women. In their minds it's a bit of fun. A lot just don't get they are harassing.
But maybe, it's about to swing too far the other way? If I was dating in my 20s now I think I would be a bit scared to say anything to a woman for fear of being thought of as a harasser.
It's not really surprising it comes up in the House of Commons (as it were). When you have a loads of power man alpha males in one place some are bound to step out of line, it's just in their nature. A stiletto into the groin should help.
Netflix decided to cancel House of Cards. I bet they've wanted to cancel it for ages As recently it hasn't been as good.
I bet they were looking for an excuse to cancel it. Cue Kevin Spacey! Sighs of relief all round. A great excuse to cease the show.
I asked Netflix to comment but they said "You might very well think that, I can't possibly comment..."
I am reeling from reading a Mail article: "It's time to master Pegging, the surprising sex moves that are all the rage. So how many have you tried?"
Well, erm... er... frankly after a recent visit to the hospital when a camera was put up there I'll pass.
In fact, after reading about Tbagging the only Tea bag I'm interested in is a Yorkshire and a nice twix.
But I would suggest if one was to try what was suggested, make sure your wife is in a good mood or else you could end up with a very high voice.
After quite a few decent shows there seems a bit of a lack now. The Mrs says the new Bake off wasn't quite as good as the bbc version though she still watched it.
I love it when she watches it as she gets inspired and getting some great fresh baked bread and last night, a pear and apple crumble which was sensational!
I did my bit, mind and made my signature meatballs dish for the family!"
I gave some kids a good tip on Halloween night. "When a lady opens the door say I'll tell you who was the Bake Off winner... or Treat..."
Tin Man just about was worth it on Atlantic. Mr Robot on Amazon continues to entertain and if you're a trader worth watching as "Evil Corp" alias Facebook/Amazon is attacked. It could happen. Eventually.
I guess we await the arrival of I'm A Celebrity but I hope they give Ant a pass. It will survive without him. His recovery is more important.
Let him get through his addiction, give him time to recover. The stress of the show at this time could screw him up for life. Leave him be.
Lord Sir A's ego has totally gone bonkers now. Yes this week the idiot "apprentices" had to find birthday presents. The whole show was about how wonderful he is and was.
Strange they were not asked to find the Amstrad "emailer" phone. Remember that total disaster? What does the BBC so with all the sh1t the contestants had to buy, I mean do they flog off the two Spurs scarves to get us some money back on our licence fee?
Claude and Karen appear to be absent in the shows now as Lord Sir A doesn't seem to allow anyone but himself to say much.
Anyway a self-declared genius with a massive IQ was fired.
IQ means nothing, just means you can solve a few puzzles but usually means you can't communicate with anyone (unless you are patronising them). Not much good for business!
I perservered with the new Star Trek on Netflix despite finding Klingons really tedious... Just about worth it for some light-hearted "drama".
Though can you believe this... they said "F
"
Twice. In STAR TREK !!! What the hell is going on!

I want to tell you of an experience I had this week. After reading your new book Trade Like A Shark.
I had finished my research on some stocks and as I was about to buy when I felt myself get really excited about it because two of them were making good gains. I stopped myself, admitted to myself that my emotions were running amuck and I closed the computer.
The next day I made the trades but with ice running through my veins and no emotion. I found that by admitting to myself that my emotions where high I could gain control again.
Excellent you are really on the way to becoming a proper shark!
Gary writes :
"For throwing your heart, soul and energy into one fact-packed, full-on and exhaustingly educational day: FIVE stars with no hesitation!!
Met some really nice people too - like me, nervous that it was the most we'd ever spent on a whole day of anything (had we made arses of ourselves?) But no one felt short-changed, especially when you were still going strong when we all wanted to go to bed! One of your delegates, Susan, back for a second time, said to me unequivocally, "you will go away absolutely inspired." I can't disagree.
Thanks Gary, hope you make some money!
Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.
The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.
I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!
Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!
Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Gabriel writes:
If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering going on one of Robbie's Seminars. You maybe asking yourself (like I did) the testimonials are all well and good but once the euphoria and excitement of attending a Seminar has died down ..... and I am back home in my normal routine and faced with the "graft" of putting it all into practice... will I become a better trader and be financially better off?
Let me tell you that in my case it certainly has!
Book your place pretty sharpish....... is what I say !
Thanks Gabriel!

Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!

EMAILS: I do beg you not to send me emails asking me for advice on a particular share. It isn't legal for me to give you individual advice and all I do is send you a mail saying that, which wastes a lot of my time and yours too. This includes asking me what to do with a share, what I might "think" about a share, or deconstructing any of the buys I mention here. I would be grateful, see FAQ for more on this. Of course more than happy to answer general questions not related to specific shares.
****
COPYING TRADES: I can't stop you from copying a trade I made but remember the price may already be a lot higher than I paid indeed I hope it is as buying at good prices is what I do for a living. You may be buying at the top and could easily lose money. Also I can make terrible mistakes and have done in the past. I could also sell before you or before the share tanks. I may still be holding in a year when you sold at a loss. Always do your own research, don't jump in blindly. Market makers are very clever at knowing how to make you pay top dollar and then push you out at a loss. This site is about sensible investment and learning how to trade sensibly and is not a tipping site. Beware. Never push buy on anything till you've done proper research and got yourself a sensible price.

I rarely do offers - Forex companies in particular offer me eyewatering sums. I turn all this down as I would never put out an offer for a company where I think my reader will 95% likely lose, or be taken for a ride.
Having had lots of mails from people using Stockopaedia and using it myself I am 100% confident.

There is lots more really fantastic material and I believe access should help investors and I now use it myself.

Next seminar is Dec 4th, come and join me for a day of trading. Email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested".
Follow up is Dec 11th mail me with "follow up interested" - lots of live
trading and a look at the Xmas rally.
The best signs that the market will soon get a kicking are always anecdotal. I've had plenty.
Someone in a pub (who didn't know me) tipped me a dodgy oil share. (I pretended to be impressed.)
I'm getting emails from people about Bitcoin - and the like. Some are boasting on how much they are making and I'm thinking: Watch out for the bailiffs coming to take your plazma TV when it all crashes and you didn't realise how much your spreadbetting exposure was...
A company with no assets said it was changing its name to add "Blockchain" to it and immediately went up 300%. That one reminds me of the internet boom when any company saying they were adding an internet site doubled in a day.
I note a lot of questionaire answers to those I send to people coming to seminars tell me there is tons of crazy gambling going on.
People have lost interest in companies making real money and are after companies trading on massive multiples that haven't made a bean yet.
Most people are sitting on massive debt with no way of ever paying it off. People are using "contactless cards" for smaller items. They basically can't really afford them.
I could go on. Doesn't mean the market will crash anytime soon. It can go a lot higher if this is a bubble.
All I am saying is make sure you get out fast when it starts to tumble whenever that is. If you get left holding the pretend currency baby, you might end up crying like one. Boo Hoo. (Talking of massive multiples). Interest rates went up today for the first time in years. But don't expect them to rise much more anytime soon.
Can you imagine if they were pushed up to the 5-6% levels pre crash (which is where they would be if we weren't in trouble with debt).
The housing market would crash as those overborrowed would have to sell. So would the markets. But would that be a bad thing long-term? Those in their 20s have little hope of buying property in the south anytime soon.
I've continued heading into some more cash topslicing things that have made me giant profits. More in a mo.
I've bought into gambling company 888. (888). A FTSE 250 company.
This one was as high as 300p but came back after being slapped on the wrist and fined for not being responsible towards its customers. (Frankly: you can't stop addicted gamblers from gambling. It's not possible to nanny them. They carry on till they are broke and they will use whatever avenues open. Trust me, I have met loads of them.)
Then a major shareholder sold out. But the shares have slipped quite a bit, enough methinks to make them a bargain and not only a possible return to 300p but I also wonder that it could be a bid target from any number of bookies - it is an area where there has been some bid activity.
So I have snapped some up. I would probably get out fast if they slipped much below 235. There is plenty of support around the 240 area.
Shares in K3C slipped for a couple of days, I wasn't sure why and researched it again. Couldn't find much wrong so I bought some more.
At its AGM last week it said it was trading comfortably within expectations and achieving solid growth.
A director has bought some shares this week. Results Jan 15th. They should blossom soon.
Packaging group Smith DS (SMDS) shares were hit by a warning from Mondi but I felt that gave a chance to buy.
We talked about these at the last seminar where I said they looked interesting and weren't that far off gaining entry to the FTSE 100.
A pretty decent trading update this week shows the warning from Mondi did not actually extend to Smiths. So to me they look like an interesting buy.
I bought some Somero (SOM). The new Barclays account won't allow it as it is down as American (Barclays is now is a terrible offering) but others do including IG.
Its last trading update was encouraging and I made a lot of money on it last time round. Now it is higher of course but I suspect given a strong market it could shift back up to all time highs. Dividend is also up 10%
What can I say about GB Group? It has made me a fortune over the years, first in at 20p and now over 400p! It's time to buy some more. It continues to be in the right area, ID intelligence which only looks set to grow more. A very strong trading update last week prompted me to buy again.
Revenues are above expectations and I like its recurring revenue. I expect to carry on holding this and wonder if a bid could materialise.
And I used a dip in the Zytronic (ZYT) share price to buy back the ones I sold in the last update. A solid and growing company, it looked like profit takers took the price back - an inline statement was perhaps a bit terse too! However it could easily head back over 600.
I bought a spreadbet in RyanAir (RYA). I find it hard to value airlines so don't often get involved but it has been hit hard recently by various factors however its trading statement seems to shrug a lot of that off so it seems worth a go but thinking of it as a bit shorter term, hence the spreadbet. Its load factor reported today is a touch higher. Shares should take off soon. (Can't stand it personally so won't be taking off in a Ryanair plane myself)
I'm on the verge of buying some more Alliance Pharma (APH). A breakout through 60p could see quite a big rise. It tried once yesterday, I'm in if it does.
I continued going into more cash in case of a market correction given we are still close to highs.
Took profits on some of the longer-term trades.
Sold the last of the Sct for a profit of £9,331. Too good a run to ignore a final profit take. Part Renew for a profit of £3,840 after a strong run, still hold some.
SSY got tipped by the IC, so with thanks for that I exited for a very nice profit of £1,915.
If your shares get tipped by the IC or the Mail you often get a massive false rise, worth taking advantage of if you're already in with a good profit, the market makers see the buyers who don't do their research and just buy straight from tips coming and mark the price well up before they can get in.
Part of qtx went for a profit of £9,084. Pay went for a profit of £177. ITV simply kept on slipping and sliding so reluctantly booked a lot less profit that I should have done at £527. Coming back down to a decent looking buy price given the daily small falls so looking to get back in soon.
The Pets At Home short was a real winner and I have banked the rest of it profiting by £975. All together the short made a combined profit of £1,850.
Purrfect, even though some of you thought I was barking mad. Taking all profits into account that's a total profot of £25,849 to add to the growing cash pile which I am going to keep adding to for fire power when a bear market kicks in.
Good gains continue in a lot of shares. Indeed some of the newer buys have seen leaps on good statements. A great statement this week from ULS sees the shares well higher. Same for Flowtech Fluidpower which have soared after a good statement. Recent buys Numis and Jarvis have both seen very good gains.
Longer-term trades still going higher include Yu Group, Iomart, Entertainment One, Alliance Pharma,. Everyman, Morgan Sindall, Safecharge, Burford and GVC among others. The short in Devro is close to being closed for a small loss, I wouldn't give it much past 250.
Anyway let's hope the markets can keep going higher till at least the year end! But a reminder when downslides happen they can happen quickly out of nowhere. Have a plan.
WEBSITE UPDATES TO YOUR MAILBOX
*** If you'd like my website updates sent direct to your mailbox (you get it first and a little earlier) plus the odd higher risk trade made for my pension, you can get that for either a smallish one off fee, or signing up for a service from Utility Warehouse. ** Two Newer Spreadfirms I Use
It is hard to find a firm that does prices on the very small companies but this company does:

***
If you like to trade the FTSE, Dow, or currencies then Spreado has an outstanding tight 0.8 spread - that is incredibly tight. The platform is very good and robust and have used it to great satisfaction and profits.
You can sign up at this link which includes a decent market commentary:

I also use IG's spreadbetting service too along with other firms. Great execution of trades and nice trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Also with this link there is an excellent education programme and it offers the biggest range of smaller shares.

As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are. Read Spreadbetting chapter in naked trader 4 which highlights the risks.

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time. Trades first reported in the diary under Markets every other Thursday afternoon.
