Some very strong bookings for both the December beginner and follow up seminars - I am very flattered.
The follow up seminar (Dec 11th) is sold out while the beginner/improver (Dec 4th) has just 2 seats left and likely sold out by the weekend. I am sorry for those I had to turn away from the 11th but I did warn! If you want to bag one of the last 2 seats for the 4th let me know asap.
As there is strong demand I will do an extra beginners/improvers on Jan 19th. You can book that at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Jan interested" in subject line.
Can't wait to meet you all at the seminars, we'll make them extra xmassy and fun. We'll have Mr Whippy 99s even if it's cold! Lots and lots of things for us to look at including a possible Xmas rally. Because there was such demand there is an extra row but I hope that will just add to the atmosphere.
Got some terrific food lined up, some smashing snacks and there might be some crackers knocking about too! See you all from 10am.. starbucks coffee and Yorkshire tea available non stop from 9.30am!
I have got a crazy schedule of pre-xmas events coming up, parents evenings, concerts, plays, meet ups and some relative health visits.. So afraid I have to swerve the next scheduled update but I will be doing a bumper Xmas update on Dec 14th.
That will round up all the trading ideas and plays from both seminars, a look back at 2017 and look forwards to 2018.
Highlight event next week is a new musical at my sister's west end theatre The Apollo called "Everyone's Talking About Jamie."
It's the classic British story: a plucky outsider fights insurmountable odds to win the hearts of the nation.
My sister says " It is about acceptance and the unconditional love a single mother has for her son."
She has sunk an awful lot of money into it so here's hoping it's going to be a big hit. Apparently most people have a good cry so I'll bring along a pack of paper hankies. If it isn't a big hit then I'll take the hankies along to my sister....
We can but hope for some good newspaper reviews, more next time.
Went to see dance band Clean Bandit. With the Mrs feeling a touch unwell, a friend of Christopher's took the ticket and off we went, pretty much both lads' first gig!
Fortified with some pop and a bag of maltesers from the bar we had a great time. Clean Bandit are very accomplished with an amazing violinist giving them their unique sound.
They did make one mistake: near the end of course came the biggest hit "Rock A Bye Baby" which got everyone on their feet but inexplicably they then played the new one that no-one had heard yet... terrible error!
Despite that a very decent gig. The boys got plenty of footage for their mates on instaweb or whatever the hell it is...
Possibly the highlight for them was a pair of kissing lesbians in a nearby row. Cue a lot of nudging and giggling...(nothing as much fun when you are that age).
Indeed when I was their age I remember getting taken by the school to see "Rozencrantz and Gildernstern are dead" I think it was called.
Unfortunately the school hadn't realised it was a "trendy" gay version.
Cue a lot of blokes in jockstraps. I can still remember the look on the face of the teacher but more the teacher's wife as she got a right eyeful in her face from the front row. Literally. We all exploded as you can imagine.
Up next was very pleased to secure tickets for my fave band Galantis and we are all off to see them in February.
Went to a lovely event, my older sister's 30th wedding anniversary marriage renewal. I'm not into churches or religion of any kind but it was really sweet.
The vicar is openly gay and married. Being gay meant the service was much more fun!
You could tell he really enjoyed it and wasn't just going through the motions. He told me afterwards he was a bit nervous and an archdeacon was about to visit the church.
"It's like an Ofsted inspection for schools," he said.
Let's hope there aren't any skeletons under the cassocks.
At the small party afterwards met a wonderful 92-year-old arts critic. Full of life and energy and interesting stories.
I can't tell you any exact info as she told me stories about a few famous people but they were amazing.
She made me feel like whatever happens you must keep active and engaged. Even at her age, her reviews can help make or break a play.
Just another few months of standing in the mud at the side of a football pitch in the middle of nowhere before Christopher heads off to board.
Yes, folks Sunday's game was 1 hour and 15 mins away on the sat nav. Had to be there for 9.15am. So left at 8am!
For a horrible journey right through the outskirts of London. Eventually get there to... you guessed it, a muddy field got knows where. Put it this way, the toilet facility was behind a tree.
The "ref" was bananas and began producing yellow cards and writing down the names of boys. No idea who he is going to show the names to. Don't tell him, Pike!
It took two hours to get back. I nearly sobbed into my tea and toast on return.
Why couldn't I have a child who was good at something else, like playing the fiddle or something?
New kitten Jacob has settled in well but has lost two lives. First life went when I sat on him (look before you sit).
I thought I'd killed him but after throwing up he was fine. Next was when he slipped behind the fridge and was nearly crushed.
I think we need a health and safety inspection. 7 lives left.
Jasmin meanwhile has developed a "death stare" when she sees Jacob but for the moment she tolerates him though I think she is trying to come up with a cunning plan to get him out.
I've seen her chatting to the hefty tabby next door. I am sure a plan is being hatched.
It was good to meet so many lovely people at the last seminar. Just a really nice bunch - all of you work hard to get places and I hope I helped.
I didn't go as manic as usual late on as only had two Mr Whippys.
I couldn't believe how many of you were still there into the evening. I reckon if I hadn't cried enough when I did some of you would have been there till midnight.
Hazel you did very well not to tuck into that gin! Hope you enjoyed it when you got back home!
Lovely feedback, looks like some of you had fun too, great senses of humour around.
Pat wrote: "I really enjoyed the day. Highlights were seeing you trade and how you did it.
I came looking for clarification on level 2 and spread betting
Both took me some time to get my head around but I think I now have it .
You do clearly enjoy the day and you are amazingly open about your trades and your methods. Although this mirrors the books I don't think there is any substitute for seeing it 1st hand."
Thanks Pat and to all - wish you all the best with your trading in the future.
If you missed this one next date is Dec 4th . Just 2 seats left!
Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested" in the subject line There is a giant early bird discount on offer.
(Follow up sold out). New date Jan 19th see above.
Beginners and improvers welcome. Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch, lots of sugary snacks, and even live chocolate waffle making in the teabreak!
My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.
A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!
Here's some feedback from from "D"
'It's obvious from his site Robbie Burns is a good market analyst and shrewd stock-picker. He is also a highly opinionated commentator on everything from TV shows to food. Therefore I expected his seminar to be 75% entertainment, 15% general exposition for beginners and-- if we were lucky-- 10% of something I could use to help me invest. But I could not have been more wrong.
The opinions on food and politics etc. though genuine, are I believe a bit of disguise or misdirection for there is a real touch of rebel genius here. And in the seminar, which is 95% hardball, he actually takes you candidly right into the mental process involved in his successful trading, making it a pretty amazing display, even showing his own investment accounts right there on the screen. You can see at once why so many of us are merely stabbing in the dark with our investments.
This is a genuine coaching session in how to trade like him if you put in the graft. I have only bought one stock since, as I am waiting for the tools he recommends, but I got the price down by using his tactics and I cannot recommend the seminar too highly if you are going there to learn. It must be taxing on him to let us at such length and in such detail into the process, which has made him so much money (for--unlike so many other so-called experts the seminars are not a day job). My advice therefore would be to sign up for this while he is still prepared to do it.'
I love it the most getting mails from people who have spent a day with me some time ago and are doing well. This was very pleasing from Jason:
"I took part on one of your courses this summer and I wanted to send you a belated thank you. The next day I got myself Level 2 and sold all of my positions, most of them had losses, I then started to buy shares, some which we found on the course and others using the techniques you shared, the simplicity of your selection process surprised me but I also found it easy to apply. Within a couple of weeks I felt so much more at ease trading, I wasn't worried about my decisions anymore because I felt in control of each trade, I knew when to sell and when to hold on and I'm no longer anxious when I open my account because it's always in the plus.
When I signed up to your course my goal was to make 20% p.a., I've achieved that in less than six months. Your course was pretty much going to be my last attempt at trading, So once again thank you, it's by far the best money I've ever spent on trading education and probably on education full stop."
Thanks Jason but it is down to you, you applied the discipline needed and had the cuts to cut your losers.

Naked Trader Seminar Latest News
Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is open for the Naked Trader seminar on Jan 19th
Price is £690 plus vat. However there is decent early bird discount on offer. Mail me for details.
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Jan seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards!
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Lucky for me I can fast forward though it all, thanks Sky!
But all the fawning over things like the John Lewis ad.
FFS it's just marketing designed to buy you products made by child labour that become obsolete quickly and end up in landfill. (And I'm not just talking Apple!)
I suspect it's probably a bit unfair to blame the celebs for avoiding tax legally. If their accountant says "here's a way" most of us would be tempted.
Mine actually said "Here's a way" a number of times.
However more through laziness than anything I always said No.
Laziness? It involved a lot of filling out forms. I thought "f all that, I'd rather pay the tax than be bothered!"
Just as well for the taxman given the massive cheque I sent last time!
Indeed I just had a letter from HMRC. The thrust of it was "you old fart you paid by cheque last time, you silly old man - try and get into the modern world, look at all the exciting electronic ways to pay".
I would like to reply but I know no-one would read it.
It would say "I tried to pay by bank transfer before. It wouldn't let me send it all in one go. Just in bits. Then I got security calls. I had to pay in 11 different transfers. It drove me crazy. That's why I paid by cheque.
No bother, took 20 seconds then pop in the post. Sometimes old tech is still better (Like a real book).
Now you read about people who've paid hundreds of thousands into crooks' bank accounts via bank transfer.
Cheques are way safer than transfers - especially for the bigger sums. My advice is if you are paying a large sum send a cheque by registered post. Use the old tech.
Once they get rid of cash people will be crying out for it and we'll wonder why we let governments con us into getting rid of it. I'll be too old and doddery by then to care...
With all the allegations flying around about everything I have to wonder: Are we going to have any TV shows, politicians, left?
Are those who put themselves in the public eye fundamentally flawed? Perhaps those who like the limelight are simply more aggressive in all things?
I'm not at all scared of flying... except on one type of plane.. those Flybe twin prop ones. I saw one made an emergency landing on Friday. I'll stick with those nice safe looking ones on other airlines, thanks!
The new big thing is "cold brew coffee".
"Created by steeping grounds in cool water for 20 hours before strained."
Before anyone else get there I am going to start a chain of "Cold Brew Tea" bars. The tea will be created by steeping old tea bags in cold water for 20 hours before straining.
Every cup will cost you a mere £50.
Celebrity First Dates was lovely. 75-year-old ex newsreader Jan Leeming looks like she found love with a personality filled 71-year-old man.
What's great is it shows it doesn't matter how old you are, if you have personality you can still light up a room.
Unfortunately for DJ Ronan Kemp, the girls all prefer his Dad who apparently is "fit". Indeed he is used to girls simply dating him a second time just to meet his Dad, Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp!
Michael Fabriqant admitted he was bisexual but wanted a woman now. Obviously no woman could possibly have dealings with him as he comes across as, let's put it kindly, a total chump.
She told him to "take his wig off". He implies it isn't a wig. One suspects it is some kind of wig, perhaps "enhanced hair".
Anyhow the two don't really get on. He's a bit hapless and I can't think of any woman who wouldn't get a bit fed up with him pretty fast. I am sure very entertaining to go for a drink with.
I'm A Celebrity arrives on Sunday. A shame they can't get some really decent contestants. At least we have Boris' Dad who should be good value.
But why do we have to have filler like someone from Hollyoaks. Always someone from Hollyoaks. I mean, who watches Hollyoaks?
I hope Ant does ok. His addiction hasn't gone away. Anyhow it's the only show that everyone enjoys so here's hoping it's a good one! It's also a show all three os us can watch.
Motherland has some sharp looks at Tiger mums and crap mums at the school gates, Those days for us are pretty much gone. It was always a bit stressful! The male character is a bit of a letdown. No-one is as bad as that?
Curb Your Enthusiasm continues its great run though the best episode is still the Salman Rushdie one. Some great observations on buses, uber drivers and ratings and how people hide behind a "spectrum". Magic.
The Apprentice: OMG, Sir Lord's ego just gets bigger. Karen and Claude are shadows of their former selves. Claude has turned into a lame poodle.
What on earth happened to the rottweiler we grew to enjoy?
The candidates showed themselves up for being totally useless yet again. The campaign for the car based in a Norman village was hilariously awful.
How could anyone with any sense of self-awareness stand up in front of pros and present something so awful? I would have fired myself first.
Obviously Elizabeth should have been fired but Sir Lord realises rightly she is TV gold for entertainment and that was the real reason she was kept.
Well, unless she has an amazing business plan Lord A fancies.

I want to tell you of an experience I had this week. After reading your new book Trade Like A Shark.
I had finished my research on some stocks and as I was about to buy when I felt myself get really excited about it because two of them were making good gains. I stopped myself, admitted to myself that my emotions were running amuck and I closed the computer.
The next day I made the trades but with ice running through my veins and no emotion. I found that by admitting to myself that my emotions where high I could gain control again.
Excellent you are really on the way to becoming a proper shark!
Gary writes :
"For throwing your heart, soul and energy into one fact-packed, full-on and exhaustingly educational day: FIVE stars with no hesitation!!
Met some really nice people too - like me, nervous that it was the most we'd ever spent on a whole day of anything (had we made arses of ourselves?) But no one felt short-changed, especially when you were still going strong when we all wanted to go to bed! One of your delegates, Susan, back for a second time, said to me unequivocally, "you will go away absolutely inspired." I can't disagree.
Thanks Gary, hope you make some money!

Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.
The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.
I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!
Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!
Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Gabriel writes:
If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering going on one of Robbie's Seminars. You maybe asking yourself (like I did) the testimonials are all well and good but once the euphoria and excitement of attending a Seminar has died down ..... and I am back home in my normal routine and faced with the "graft" of putting it all into practice... will I become a better trader and be financially better off?
Let me tell you that in my case it certainly has!
Book your place pretty sharpish....... is what I say !
Thanks Gabriel!

EMAILS: I do beg you not to send me emails asking me for advice on a particular share. It isn't legal for me to give you individual advice and all I do is send you a mail saying that, which wastes a lot of my time and yours too. This includes asking me what to do with a share, what I might "think" about a share, or deconstructing any of the buys I mention here. I would be grateful, see FAQ for more on this. Of course more than happy to answer general questions not related to specific shares.
****
COPYING TRADES: I can't stop you from copying a trade I made but remember the price may already be a lot higher than I paid indeed I hope it is as buying at good prices is what I do for a living. You may be buying at the top and could easily lose money. Also I can make terrible mistakes and have done in the past. I could also sell before you or before the share tanks. I may still be holding in a year when you sold at a loss. Always do your own research, don't jump in blindly. Market makers are very clever at knowing how to make you pay top dollar and then push you out at a loss. This site is about sensible investment and learning how to trade sensibly and is not a tipping site. Beware. Never push buy on anything till you've done proper research and got yourself a sensible price.

I rarely do offers - Forex companies in particular offer me eyewatering sums. I turn all this down as I would never put out an offer for a company where I think my reader will 95% likely lose, or be taken for a ride.

Thanks to the reader who pushed me in the direction of Netflix doc Betting On Zero
It's all about US market listed Herbalife.
A fascinating battle between a fund manager, Bill Ackman who thinks the company is a pyramid scheme and worth zero, the company itself batting to prove it isn't and Ackman's nemesis, a rival manager who hates him, Carl Icahn.
Ackman's short is massively in the red. You get upset if your short is in the red by £100? Try a billion!
The company is buying back its own shares and Icahn too is buying them to try and short squeeze Ackman out of the short. The short costs him holding costs all the time.
It's a very interesting battle. The company is facing a battle with regulators but the ultimate decision is likely to be made by... Donald Trump
Is Herbalife a con? Or a great business?
I roll with the view it will run out of distributors eventually as it seems more about adding more distributors than selling actual product.
But that doesn't mean it can't run on for a long time and the shares are holding up well. I wouldn't like to be long personally.
We shall see. Do watch though, a very entertaining battle. Be interesting to watch the share price too, I added it to my watchlist. Perhaps... if you see it start to tumble... maybe.... a short?
The more emails I get about bitcoin and the like the more bearish I would get! As the years go on, whenever certain things crop up on emails it usually points to a bubble.
The question you need to ask yourself before buying anything is: "Could anything happen for me to lose 40% plus of my investment just like that?"
Rather than "How many millions will I make from the brilliant idea?"
With cryptocurrencies anything could happen. A country could just decide to ban them overnight.
Or a bitcoin gets hacked causing a major scare. There are many scenarios you could make for them to screw up.
OK if you are playing for fun money, not money you need to live off.
I'm starting to get those spam emails "Make £13,000 a week from cryptocurrency trading". When those start coming in, you can guess what is likely to happen next.
The more people you see ploughing into these things on twitter the more afraid you should be. Indeed one good idea would be to short anything anyone on twitter tells you to buy.
Through that strategy millions could indeed be made. I'll be interested in bitcoin when I can buy a marks and sparks cake with one. Thinking about setting up my own.
How's about BurnsCoin? You send me £1,000 and I'll send you three BurnsCoins. Sound good? Hell, I'll even do free delivery.
Hmmm, November. It isn't usually a great time to buy, for some reason markets are often a bit rubbish.
Often a better time to buy is early December, before what is usually a good end of year. So I would say if you do buy anything now make sure it is something you are very keen on.
Perhaps if you believe in conspiracy theories November can be duff because then it sets us all up for the Xmas rally.
After all if shares went up too much this month we might not have one.
Anyhow as you may have noticed the last month I've been taking profits rather than buying and continue to be a cautious buyer right now I also wouldn't let anything run into much of a loss. if you buy now and it starts to tank, get out till December.
So though I have a shortlist of new shares I am interested in buying I'm going to wait with the view I might be able to buy them more cheaply in December - we'll cover them at the December seminars.
So I have sold a lot more and now sitting on a cash pile of more than £250,000. I'm kind of interested in topping up on decent shares on a bad day though.
I did manage to get a ftse short on in the 7500 area but only a smallish one, bad luck. But would expect to come out of that anyway in December.
I suspect I will disappoint you by saying I've not bought anything much!
This is where unlike a tipster, a mag writer or the like I don't have to "come up with stuff".
They have to fill space or else they get fired or don't get paid! I don't have to make things up - take me or leave me, see if I care!
However I bought some more Avon Rubber (AVON) after excellent results.
Managed to get some at the sell price using direct market access (more on this at the seminar if you are coming).
I also banked some before results, more below. Kind of wish I hadn't.
Avon looks a class act - a brilliant balance sheet and great businesses and it's just been selected as a contractor for the US defence department.
You would have thought the shares would trade on a higher rating but the market seems to ignore them But I am hopeful of a re-rating at some stage to push them through highs and up another couple of hundred pee.
So not being a buyer at the mo not much else to say but to make up for it a bit I will reveal a high risk one I bought which those of you who get my higher risk sipp trades will already know about but bought some for the isa as well.
That's Ab Dynamics. (ABDP). It doesn't come within my usual parameters and it is highly rated. But looking forward I feel it is worth the risk.
It designs and makes advanced testing systems for the automotive industry.
But what makes it more interesting than your average share is bits I found on its website including "driving robots" and "Driverless cars".
Although I hate the idea of both they are coming, and soon and guess which company is going to get a whole lot of work?
That's why it is already highly rated but perhaps it could end up being even more highly rated as the years go on. It does have net cash too and I think it will take time and patience. But a reminder it IS high risk as it has a high rating!
Right yet more profit taking and this time a lot to add to the lot I already bagged recently. I think this is them all but I'm writing this at the last minute so it might not be.
Some are total sells, and some topslices and part profits. People seem to think you should always just sell all of something. You can always just sell some if unsure.
The highlight profit take is Yu Group which has been a tremendous trade.
I bought at under 200p about a year and a half ago - at over 800p profit really just had to be snapped up! So I did, banking a marvellous £15,068. Now why the hell didn't I buy more!
Second highlight was Supergroup spreadbet. My thanks to Fiona for bringing this one up at the seminar!
It hit 2000p today and I just couldn't resist banking the profit which is £8,430 in double quick time! It may go higher but nearly 300 points so fast is enough for me for the mo.
As mentioned earlier the Avon topslice I wish I hadn't done yielded a profit of £797. I banked some IG but also kept some so closed one of the website positions for a profit of £1,598. Keeping the spreadbet which is showing a bigger profit than that at the mo. (In real life the positions were way bigger.)
So those the highlights, for smaller beer, mainly small topslices.... part Zyt profit £467, Eto (£573) Num £174 Flow,£1,207 xsg £2,293 and Jar £860. Som started falling so "got out quick" for a loss of £88. But looking for re-entry point any mo as coming down to a nice buy price.
Profits banked for the site then are £30,715.
Elsewhere Volex came up with a very convincing statement, nice profit there now but could be more to come.
The plan now?
Keep powder dry and lots of cash waiting... and await December when I shall be probably going in large as they used to say many years ago in Ibiza. I might buy earlier if prices look really good.
There are already quite a few shares starting to look value so it won't be long before I will be getting some substantial buying boots on.

** Two Newer Spreadfirms I Use
It is hard to find a firm that does prices on the very small companies but this company does:

***
If you like to trade the FTSE, Dow, or currencies then Spreado has an outstanding tight 0.8 spread - that is incredibly tight. The platform is very good and robust and have used it to great satisfaction and profits.
You can sign up at this link which includes a decent market commentary:

I also use IG's spreadbetting service too along with other firms. Great execution of trades and nice trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Also with this link there is an excellent education programme and it offers the biggest range of smaller shares.

As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are. Read Spreadbetting chapter in naked trader 4 which highlights the risks.

Telecom Plus Offer
You get to sell great broadband, phone packages and energy to friends, relatives, contacts and anyone else you find and you get cash for each sale but more importantly you get a cut of their spend EVERY MONTH for as long as they are a customer!
It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!
Not only do you get paid out every month for each customer you can take on distributors. encourage them like I do and get paid on their sales as well.
One day, say you could made redundant, needed a year off or wanted to retire early can you imagine what joy it is to have the regular income coming in. It's wonderful.
You have to work at it, but if you do genuine repeat wealth could be yours. I did it. You can too. For full details, why not email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com.

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time. Trades first reported in the diary under Markets every other Thursday afternoon.
