Next update is going to be May 14th. Yes, correct, I didn't fancy updating on election day and would rather give my views after we know what's happened.

All I can do is urge you to vote Tory and remember time and time again what Labour's done to the economy. If Labour are in power we'll end up like France quite quickly and watch the economy turn into a shambles again.

Of course the Tories aren't perfect at all, but the best of a hopeless bunch and they have helped to turn the economy around and create a lot of new jobs.

Don't be lazy on the day get out and vote. Unless you're planning to vote Labour in which case .. just stay in bed, probably be too cold to venture out....

Great to meet so many lovely people at the seminar on Monday and enjoyed lunch on the "girls table".

The attention you all gave all day was remarkable and I was stunned at how many of you were still there at 9pm when I ran out of steam finally! I'm assuming you all got the notes, if not let me know! More on the event in a bit.

I got the shock of my life when I went to the toilet last week.

I'd been on my own all day and frankly had just done the odd "number one".

On entering I literally gasped! Inside the toilet was the biggest, fattest and most horrible great big turd I have ever seen!

What! Who? How? Burglar? No, nothing missing...

Hang on a minute! Now it came back to me.

The supermarket delivery guy!!!!

He'd been a couple of hours back. He'd got cross with me on the phone because he couldn't find the place and then kind of blamed me on the phone. He arrived in a right foul mood.

He'd asked if he could use the loo. I assumed a quick wee, and indeed he was only in there for a minute.

OMG!! Was this a revenge crap attack?? Was the turd deliberately placed by him?

He hadn't tried to flush the loo.. and indeed more disturbingly not used loo paper OR WASHED HIS HANDS!!

Arrrgghh!! I immediately washed anything he could have handled.

All in all, I think it's possible it was some kind of revenge thing.

The day after a "survey" pops in from the supermarket asking me to rate the delivery.

The question was: Do I grass him up? If I do what do I write?

I think your delivery guy left me a giant present in a bizarre revenge scenario?

Then I thought ok he was having a bad day and he was in a bad mood, he probably gets paid minimum wage, give the guy a break. So I deleted the survey.

Though it was tempting to land him in the s***.

Lovely to meet you all on Monday I was amazed when I looked up at 8.45pm to see so many of you still there and wanting more after so many hours. Thanks for all the great questions and I think one or two decent trades showed themselves.

Glad some of you now realise how important supply and demand is (level 2) and in fact sometimes how simple research can be, remember, keep it as simple as possible, be as patience as possible and that will bring in the money.

Thanks for all your great feedback on my presentations on Monday and also a lot of good comments about the food and snacks. I'll publish just one to stop me looking like an egomaniac... From Mark:

"If you want to make money from trading/investing in stocks you MUST attend. I have been trading for 2 years with a flat account, Robbie's seminar is a revelation, and the key to the whole thing "" KEEP IT SIMPLE! Forget the money, that will come back very quickly; the seminar will save you that much and more in potential losses if you don't attend!

The seminar itself is delivered at a comforting and inclusive manner with lots of interaction, questions about the content and how to apply it to your own situation.. every question benefits all people in the room.. so ask! I have to say I wasn't that interested in Level2 prior to the seminar, but now I will NOT be trading without it!! Basically, the way Robbie explains it makes it easy to understand, I'm no expert but I am able to use it as a very useful tool in my trading.

The latter part is a culmination of everything, I now know how to find "˜good' stocks, where to find "˜good' stocks, how to decide entry & exit points and the creation of a trading plan. For me the most useful part wasn't so much taught, rather it was implied, and that is patience.

Thanks Mark! And everyone else. I know I'll be seeing a few of you at the follow up in June and look forwards to seeing you again.

If you missed this one and would like to come to the next..it is in June - June 8th. There is currently a very decent early bird discount on offer.
Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "June seminar interested".

Beginners and improvers welcome! Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch, lots of sugary snacks, and even live chocolate waffle making in the teabreak!

My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.

A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!

Here's some feedback from from "D"

'It's obvious from his site Robbie Burns is a good market analyst and shrewd stock-picker. He is also a highly opinionated commentator on everything from TV shows to food. Therefore I expected his seminar to be 75% entertainment, 15% general exposition for beginners and-- if we were lucky-- 10% of something I could use to help me invest. But I could not have been more wrong.

The opinions on food and politics etc. though genuine, are I believe a bit of disguise or misdirection for there is a real touch of rebel genius here. And in the seminar, which is 95% hardball, he actually takes you candidly right into the mental process involved in his successful trading, making it a pretty amazing display, even showing his own investment accounts right there on the screen. You can see at once why so many of us are merely stabbing in the dark with our investments.

This is a genuine coaching session in how to trade like him if you put in the graft. I have only bought one stock since, as I am waiting for the tools he recommends, but I got the price down by using his tactics and I cannot recommend the seminar too highly if you are going there to learn. It must be taxing on him to let us at such length and in such detail into the process, which has made him so much money (for--unlike so many other so-called experts the seminars are not a day job). My advice therefore would be to sign up for this while he is still prepared to do it.'

Naked Trader Seminar Latest News

JUNE 8TH NEAR HEATHROW
Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is open for the Naked Trader seminar on June 8th

Price is £650 plus vat. However there is a decent early bookers discount available for those booking nice and early.
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "april seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards!
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Naked Rambling

If you go to a pret a manger branch and you have to pay for your coffee - sorry you are just not good looking enough.

Apparently staff there are allowed to hand out a certain amount of free coffees and even food if they fancy you.

Does this mean that certain people might be tempted to show a bit of cleavage to the male staff on going into a Pret? Will we be seeing hordes of women tarting themselves up outside Prets?

Are the men doing to spray themselves with CK1 before heading inside? And how are you going to feel if you never get a freebie. Ugly, unloved and sad inside?

Well, I never had a freebie from there but frankly being an old bald bloke I can hardly expect to be fancied by the staff. I think if I ran a cafe again I'd give freebies to the least fanciable.

After all those with good looks are already ahead of the game. Give freebies to those whose faces suck! In fact, free coffee for baldies!!!

So it looks like the massive flash crash of the Dow was sparked by one guy sitting in his house near Heathrow!

I know share prices are easily manipulated but honestly! The problem is anyone with a computer can manipulate prices, in fact you just need a gang of people and a bit of savvy and it's easy.

Fake orders can be placed so it looks like a share has a mass of sellers - the whole system needs to be looked at and re-thought to stop this kind of thing.

Private investors can be easily manipulated to sell their shares - all it takes is a quick drop in price to scare them or trigger stops.

Unless new rules are put in place look out for gangs taking share prices down so they can short them thus literally robbing pi's of their money.

It's easy money for them and they don't even have to bother robbing a bank. Can all be done from their bedrooms. It sucks. One guy got fined nearly a million for manipulating share prices a few years back by and then spread betting the manipulated price. Easy money. But it affects those of us that trade honestly. I bet it is still going on.

Thank goodness the football season is all but over. Our team Fulham have produced total rubbish football all season and I had to endure a 1-1 with Rotherham.

I prefer watching my son's under 10 team. I can still hardly believe those on the pitch actually get paid for it. I'm going to be at the adventure playground on Saturday instead of watching us lose the last home game.

Why is the BBC bothering with a new Top Gear? It was the Jeremy Clarkson show, just forget about it and let him take the show to Sky or ITV.

Getting there slowly with Game of Thrones, now half way through series one, it's not quite gripping me as I get confused as to who comes from where.

The Mrs is gradually enjoying it more though doesn't like the violence.

But what happened to the lesbian bits? They seem to have disappeared. Oh, which of course I am very pleased about, those scenes were, er, really disgusting!

Missing Better Call Saul already! I see Breaking Bad is now on Freeview but too soon to watch it all again yet.

Not keen on any of the singing shows but always love Britain's Got Talent. The 12-year-old's performance was remarkable. Not sure about the dog act.

The Eurovision song contest is on the way. Want to make money from it? Just back the first four favourites on the spreads! Amazingly the top 4 faves are usually in the top 6 and one of them usually wins. I've made £500 plus a year from this!

Good place for spreadbets for sport/horses/song contest is here...

Good quick execution of bets and a great range of markets. Recommended!

Naked Mail

Dave writes :
I agree with comments about Dr Who and Breaking Bad. I used to enjoy Dr. Who years ago but I think it's worn out, it's all about celebrity now, like everything else on telly.

I recently was enjoying the Sopranos a friend let me borrow (fascinating story lines) and my son Rob in Australia (an irrelevance to you of course), he said if you like Sopranos you'll love Breaking Bad. Wow was he ever right. I got the full set from Amazon (apart from the last season). I'm having to eke it out it's so brilliant I don't want it to end, that's the sad bit. What about the uncle in the desert in the wheelchair with the bell strapped to the arm of the chair, the missus and me just fell about and many more just brilliant set ups dragging out every emotion.

Agree Dave, love Breaking Bad. Only five to go for me and I won't spoil what happens for you except it gets more and more addictive!
Gary writes :
"For throwing your heart, soul and energy into one fact-packed, full-on and exhaustingly educational day: FIVE stars with no hesitation!!
Met some really nice people too - like me, nervous that it was the most we'd ever spent on a whole day of anything (had we made arses of ourselves?) But no one felt short-changed, especially when you were still going strong when we all wanted to go to bed! One of your delegates, Susan, back for a second time, said to me unequivocally, "you will go away absolutely inspired." I can't disagree.
Thanks Gary, hope you make some money!

Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.

The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.

I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!

Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!

Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Gabriel writes:
If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering going on one of Robbie's Seminars. You maybe asking yourself (like I did) the testimonials are all well and good but once the euphoria and excitement of attending a Seminar has died down ..... and I am back home in my normal routine and faced with the "graft" of putting it all into practice... will I become a better trader and be financially better off?
Let me tell you that in my case it certainly has!
Book your place pretty sharpish....... is what I say !

Thanks Gabriel!

Terry writes:
Fantastic seminar.

I have always been sceptical of the public testaments you see on web sites
saying how great an event was. Now I'm one of those people!. I
genuinely believe that the tips and techniques as well as the overall
approach you demonstrated will radically improve my trading performance
Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!
Dan writes :

EMAILS: I do beg you not to send me emails asking me for advice on a particular share. It isn't legal for me to give you individual advice and all I do is send you a mail saying that, which wastes a lot of my time and yours too. This includes asking me what to do with a share, what I might "think" about a share, or deconstructing any of the buys I mention here. I would be grateful, see FAQ for more on this. Of course more than happy to answer general questions not related to specific shares.
****
COPYING TRADES: I can't stop you from copying a trade I made but remember the price may already be a lot higher than I paid indeed I hope it is as buying at good prices is what I do for a living. You may be buying at the top and could easily lose money. Also I can make terrible mistakes and have done in the past. I could also sell before you or before the share tanks. I may still be holding in a year when you sold at a loss. Always do your own research, don't jump in blindly. Market makers are very clever at knowing how to make you pay top dollar and then push you out at a loss. This site is about sensible investment and learning how to trade sensibly and is not a tipping site. Beware. Never push buy on anything till you've done proper research and got yourself a sensible price.
****

Some good news: Tesco is apparently offering a great deal on its shares: buy one, get one free!

Well, the market heads into the election in a pretty good mood. I think we have to remember so many FTSE companies are overseas - maybe the election won't cause so much volatility and we will just follow the states. Who knows?

I'm carrying on as normal! Trouble is if you worry about everything - elections, Greece, Isis, the euro, then you'll never ever make a trade. Worst comes to the worst with a crap trade, dump it and take a small loss.

I've surprised myself and made quite a few trades, more than normal - not going to publish them all but here are one or two!

Quantum Pharma (QP.) looks very interesting indeed. I like the look of it and bought it twice - once live at Monday's seminar and also a spreadbet or two.

This is one that actually makes a profit - and a good one too! I like that its trading update said results which will be sometime in May (probably before I update next) will be comfortably ahead of expectations.

On that score, the shares look very cheap. It reached a significant milestone recently by launching its first licensed medicine, Aviticol .

Quantum also has cash and is using it to acquire others - indeed it just announced it bought Lamda Labs which looks a good fit.

I think Quantum has some considerable upside and I am thinking of it as one I could make decent money on and might even be holding it in two year's time. I've had good success trebling my money and more with companies like Vectura and BTG and wonder if this could be a new super one.

I don't know yet, but I'm going to try and hold for a while ignoring volatility and see how it plays out.

I like the look of LOOK! Lookers, the car seller. All car sellers are putting out very strong sales and Lookers sales are accelerating away.

I wonder whether there is some more upside here to nearer the 200p level before the brakes come onto the share price.

Profits are way up, and the dividend is up nicely too. The last statement was bullish and I wonder about those getting hold of their pension pots heading off to their local Lookers to get a new (or used) car!

All in all looks a good one for now and I am in the driving seat for more!

I also like the look of Impellam (IPEL) and bought a few for the ISA.

Profits are booming at IPEL and the share price has too.

However even after recent rises it looks cheap and I'm after a further re-rating to somewhere near the tenner mark. Net debt is low too at 15m, forecasts are bullish and directors have been buying near the higher price.

Might take a bit of patience but suddenly one day this one could really push a lot higher.

I've taken up my rights in Optimal Payment so I'll add at the rights price of 166 which gives the website a new lot of shares (5,000).

I've topped up in one I've already made nearly 100 points on - Energy Assets (EAS).

And I topped up on John Laing (JLG) which has turned out to be a fantastic new issue.

Renew (RNWH) also was just asking for a top up after a fall so I did! Lots of good profit in that one.

Well, it's now clear why the Tep share price had gone down this year - profits are going to be about 8-9m less than expected due in part to gas theft.

If that can come under control, then growth could be resumed - the dividend is to be pushed up a lot, and at 5% plus, that looks very nice and for the time being I'll consider it my income stock. I bought a few new ones on the day of the announcement.

Directors put out a statement saying they thought the share price fall back was well overdone and put their money where their mouths are and bought an absolute ton of shares, over a million quids worth. I would think a slow ride back to a tenner is likely and in the meantime there is a massive payout coming. The shares now look cheap and the dividend will certainly support the share price.

DIA: statement was a bit disappointing, however I had already reached my target and more and decided to bank my profits, making a profit of £726. Future could still be bright though and I'm already thinking of buying them back as at under 700 they have a lot of potential.

I had a great run with Hunting and after a very big rise, way above my expectations I sold taking a nice profit of £1,753.

I never really expected it to rise so much so fast, sometimes the market surprises you in a nice way! This was a pretty easy one to take profit on.

To me share dealing is just a business and I don't get emotional about it - I know sometimes something won't work out and I'll have to take a big loss. Doesn't matter, a business expense. As long as you don't hold too much of anything a couple of stinkers is fine.

It's just when you buy something because a company said something then three months later they say the opposite then I get annoyed!

But Shoezone in January said despite the warm weather so far they were trading in line with expectations! Three months of cold weather later they said the opposite - they HAD affected profits! Frankly I feel mugged - I bought some on the in line statement which turns out to be cobblers.

It's tempting to buy a pair of their boots and then stick one somewhere painful into whoever writes the statements. And really annoying is there were no revised profit figure to work off to try and value it. How are we expected to make a decision? In fact I was lucky as I had been considering buying some more and lucky for me level 2 had put me off.

Anyway I got out of some first thing and then stupidly when to get some tea and by the time I got back the price had gone down another 15p. So I even played getting out badly. Anyway the result for the site is a loss of £912 .

However today I see house brokers reckon profits will be £10m. With that and its cash surprisingly I am pondering buying Shoe back this afternoon or tomorrow as if those figures are right then the current price looks cheap and it could head back up to the 220 level giving some nice upside from here.

Polypipe has been sitting there for a long time and actually I'd forgotten about it but it came up on a screen at the seminar. Having a good look at it the day after although statements were very good the share can't get above 180. So I took profits just below - so profits for the site on that are £602. I'd be interested in buying this one back lower if possible.

Pets At Home came up with a decent statement - it looks like a superb long-term investment. But I did sell a few before results day as I thought even with good results the share might fall back on results day.

Actually I got that wrong, they didn't much! Anyway I had some rather large spreadbets on it as those of you who came to the seminar saw and in real life I've made more than £15,000 on them so live on the day I did sell some, in particular some of the spreadbets.

For web purposes half are sold to bank a profit of £1,228. However firmly hanging onto the rest and may consider re-buying ones I sold on any weakness as 300 looks possible.

So taking all web losses and profits into account and taking the losses off the profits that's a total profit of £3,397.

Carclo announced a licensing agreement for CIT, the market liked that and the share price is heading higher again.

Telford Homes put out a great report nothing like "ahead of expectations" is there? Despite the big rise I've had in it so far this company looks very well run and so unless there is a massive downturn going to stick with it.

Oh my goodness, a spectacular rise for Xeros Tech for me today after it announced signing up 61 channel partners for its polymer bead cleaning business.

There's a big water shortage in California and with its system needing very little water there are going to be a lot of sign ups. All the big hotels have signed up. Could this be a giant in the making? I'm already up nearly £50,000 on these personally with a £7,000 profit for the site. I would expect a lot of volatility as they are hard to value and possibly a fund raising but if it carries on like this could it be a multibagger eventually?

Iomart has gone up nicely. The beauty of it is that Iomart shares aren't worth much less than they are now, so one can hold happily. What we are waiting for is another bid to come in, I suspect next time 300p will be enough.

It's one of those shares to put away, forget about and then one morning when you least expect it a bid announcement appears and you've gained 40% overnight. I'm waiting patiently....

The lovely GB Group put out a great statement with profits ahead of expectations - it rose nicely this week after that and looks like a bid target.
Spire's shareholder dumped again in the late 300s causing it to come back (same as last time!) If history works out again it should head back up to 380!
Good old Dignity continues well and is now trying to stay above the 2000 mark. Already doubled on these and over the years no surprise if it doubled again, there's a lot of money in death!

Looking forward to some big dividend payments from GVC and 888.

Caretech has flown up and gone past the 240 mark now.
32 Red continues its strong run up. Elsewhere Sprue Aegis hangs onto gains. Keeps rising - it seems to stay put for a while then put on 15p which is fine by me!
Entertainment One has had a great week, and trying to conquer the 310-320 area. a beautiful long-term winner.

I still have the spreadbet in British Airways or consolidated something or other whatever they're called now and see I am more than 2 grand up. I only bought them as a short-term play on the ebola fears being overdone but as they seem strong I might as well turn it into a longer-term thing!

** Two Newer Spreadfirms I Use

FOR SMALL COMPANIES:

It is hard to find a firm that does prices on the very small companies but this company does:

http://www.spreadex.com/nakedtrader

It does spreads on smaller ones other companies don't like Xeros so worth having an account for that, been using it for a while and very happy so far. They also have an Ipad offer at the moment which is on that link.

TIGHTEST SPREAD FOR TRADING THE FTSE/DOW ETC

If you're into trading indices this one is the cheapest with just a 0.8 spread which is fantastic - execution is top too

http://www.spreadco.com/nakedtrader/

If you start using them and find any problems please let me know.
I also use IG's spreadbetting service too along with other firms. Great execution of trades and nice trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Also with this link there is an excellent education programme and it offers the biggest range of smaller shares.

As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are.

Capital Spreads offer

Capital Spreads offers a really excellent book on spreadbetting for those who open accounts through the link below. Spreads are very tight and every trade has to have a stop loss which is excellent discipline to have especially for beginners. Execution is really good I find and they also allow shorts on shares it is hard to get shorts on like say Carpetright or facebook.

Telecom Plus Offer

Want to quit the rat race? Try and start a new source of income so one day you can tell the boss to stuff it? You could do what I did to escape my grotty office job and become an independent distributor for the Utilities Discount Warehouse.
You get to sell great broadband, phone packages and energy to friends, relatives, contacts and anyone else you find and you get cash for each sale but more importantly you get a cut of their spend EVERY MONTH for as long as they are a customer!
It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!
Not only do you get paid out every month for each customer you can take on distributors. encourage them like I do and get paid on their sales as well.
One day, say you could made redundant, needed a year off or wanted to retire early can you imagine what joy it is to have the regular income coming in. It's wonderful.
You have to work at it, but if you do genuine repeat wealth could be yours. I did it. You can too. For full details, why not email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com.

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time. Trades first reported in the diary under Markets every other Thursday afternoon.
