*****
It's fireworks night. I'm not really bothered about displays because there is nothing better than just letting some of your own off in the back garden.
So I am armed with a couple of decent selection boxes. Main aim tonight is to try and get the catherine wheels nailed in properly so they don't fall off.
And, folks, remember never return to one that was lit and didn't work!

Great to meet so many of you at the seminar last week - well done to those of you who made it through the fog - three of you had your flight cancelled but I have transferred you to the next seminar on Dec 7th. If you haven't had the notes let me know.

I think we unearthed some interesting shares and really thought the understanding of level 2 was good by teatime! Thank you all for your attention and great questions. And, well, I discovered one or two great new trades for myself!
As those of you who went to the seminar are aware I was crapping myself about going into hospital but as it turns out my worries (mainly!) are over.
I went into hospital so they could put cameras down me and have a look after weeks of tummy problems.
This involves a really fun time! They stick a camera on a wire right down your throat and down into the stomach to take pictures and pick up bits and pieces.
I decided to take sedation to make the whole thing a bit more comfortable.
Just before they go in they really put the s***** up you.
"Just to let you know it's possible you could end up being operated on in case we rupture your stomach lining.. you could even die... have a nice day!"
On being wheeled in I tried not to think about these words. Very soon I was sedated and that was great because though it did feel very uncomfortable I was nearly out so it went by in a blur.
Afterwards waiting for the doctor to report. Is he going to have a happy face or sad face? Neither actually - poker face.
And I'm glad to say I don't have anything really horrible. I have got something, which is a very long word! But nothing really threatening. And they can treat it with pills.
Which is great as I'd been worried for weeks being a cowardly custard.
I guess I am just susceptible to stomach bugs and so have to be really careful with hygiene and what I eat for the time being. I also now have some pills if it happens again.
There's no doubt health is the most important thing. Anyhow I am back up and running. Thanks to those who mailed with kind thoughts and support.
I went privately. I don't mind paying as don't want to burden the NHS with my problems, the whole thing cost about £1,500. Money well spent for me.
I do pay as you go on the basis that if I'd been paying out for insurance for say the last 20 years for me and the mrs it would have cost probably at least £20,000.
Also as pay as you go there are no forms, you pick who you want there is no worries about not been covered (you know what small print is like).
I know as we get older I will need more treatments but my betting is it will cost me a lot less on pay as you go than adding up all the premiums paid over the years. I'm the same with all insurance, I don't have any for anything unless forced to.
We had a nice half-term in Cornwall and Spain.
Cornwall was very different - we had a cottage and some friends and their boy, the same age as Christopher also had one so that was fun.
There was also a swimming pool, tennis and ping pong so stuff to do when it rained.
We had lots of country walks (plenty of sheep s***) left on my boots to prove it. And a nice meal in a great restaurant to celebrate my birthday though sad for the restaurant we were the only patrons.
By the way, just to confirm sheep s*** not sheep

. How could you think it.
The journey there takes forever. Must have been seven hours on the way back. I guess it was all just about worth it. Overall though? I think I probably prefer Spain!
Don't believe any of the fantastic reviews in the papers of the new James Bond movie. Because it sucks.
The special effects are fine but seen it all before and frankly car chases are car chases. Boat chases ditto.
The baddie isn't very bad and isn't in it much.
The other baddie just grunts once. The claim he has a new older love interest is rubbish. That lasts two minutes and he spends the rest of the film running around with a 25-year-old. There is no chemisty between them.
There isn't even really a story or any tension anywhere in the movie. And it goes on and on.
Why the great reviews? The papers and mags rely on the advertising spend that's why.
They can't possibly write a bad review. The same with travel articles. Wonder why they are always non critical? Because the journos are on a freebie. Anyhow the last one, Skyfall was great. This one is pants I promise you!
If you would like to come to the next seminar..it is on Mon Dec 7th - and this one will be a little different as will also be looking at ways to make money from a potential Santa rally!
Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested". There is a decent early bookers discount on offer that you can currently claim.

Beginners and improvers welcome! Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch, lots of sugary snacks, and even live chocolate waffle making in the teabreak!

My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.

A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!

Here's some feedback from from "D"

'It's obvious from his site Robbie Burns is a good market analyst and shrewd stock-picker. He is also a highly opinionated commentator on everything from TV shows to food. Therefore I expected his seminar to be 75% entertainment, 15% general exposition for beginners and-- if we were lucky-- 10% of something I could use to help me invest. But I could not have been more wrong.

The opinions on food and politics etc. though genuine, are I believe a bit of disguise or misdirection for there is a real touch of rebel genius here. And in the seminar, which is 95% hardball, he actually takes you candidly right into the mental process involved in his successful trading, making it a pretty amazing display, even showing his own investment accounts right there on the screen. You can see at once why so many of us are merely stabbing in the dark with our investments.

This is a genuine coaching session in how to trade like him if you put in the graft. I have only bought one stock since, as I am waiting for the tools he recommends, but I got the price down by using his tactics and I cannot recommend the seminar too highly if you are going there to learn. It must be taxing on him to let us at such length and in such detail into the process, which has made him so much money (for--unlike so many other so-called experts the seminars are not a day job). My advice therefore would be to sign up for this while he is still prepared to do it.'

When I left my full-time job to trade it really helped having another income: this I got from part-time selling energy and phone services to people and getting a cut of their use of their home services forever! I still get enough from it now to pay all my bills. I am a great believer in multiple incomes and this is a great one in my opinion as anyone could do it.

Naked Trader Seminar Latest News

DECEMBER 7TH NEAR HEATHROW XMAS RALLY SPECIAL!

Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is open for the Naked Trader seminar on December 7th which includes how to make the most of the Xmas rally potential.

Price is £650 plus vat. However there is a decent early bird discount on offer. Mail for details.
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "jUNE seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards!
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Naked Rambling

Kindly uncle with a hint of menace Jeremy (he'd be good in Fargo) continues his requests at PMQ's.
This week Wayne from Watford asks how the government can expect him to live without a new bendy plazma TV screen - surely sheer cruelty that he now has to keep his 75 inch flat screen with no bends going for another year...
Yesterday Uncle Jezza was worried about the armed forces facing potential less pay.
But as head boy Dave pointed out if kind uncle with hint of menace was in power there wouldn't be any money at all as in his world there wouldn't be any armed forces jobs.
The top brass at the BBC continue to take the p*** out of us licence payers.
A channel head decided to downsize her job to work on projects at home and because of bbc rules gets the same pay!
And its "creative director" has claimed £1,500 of taxi fares taking 75 cab trips.
Why the hell doesn't he use the tube like we all do in London? There isn't any reason for any of them to take a cab.
I don't really have a problem with the Government looking at my internet history. I mean what interest could they possibly have in my passion for high heeled fishing wader websites?
And I was only looking at the Avon Rubber website because I was researching it for a potential share buy.. honest...
The new series of The Apprentice feels even more sour than ever with Lord Sir A managing to be even pretend nastier than ever.
But what a letdown Claude is. The former Rottweiler in previous series has turned into a poodle.
I get the feeling he wishes he hadn't said yes to his new role. It must be pretty tedious following the contestants around.
I don't think Claude's heart is in it - from Rottweiler to Lord A's lapdog.
I felt sorry for the contestants at the pet show. Many years ago I tried to sell cat beds there. I never sold one though I did sell the stuffed cat inside the bed for a fiver. Claude would have been proud of me.
The new series of Fargo's been worth watching - not quite as rivetting as the first series but it's still brilliant TV.
The air of menance lurks behind the everything's ok facade. And the sets and styling is terrific.
Homeland has really come back into its own. Good proper twists and turns after the Brody nonsense in series two.
At last: a decent comedy made in the UK!

That's Catastrophe, CH 4 on Tuesday nights. If you missed it catch up with the new series on catch up. Like all good comedy not only funny but painfully accurate depiction of the problems of a new addition to the family and the feelings arising in many couples.
Best bit in the last episode is when wife needs some attention at the end of a long day the husband declares he has used up all his daily "care units". Sometimes I feel like that answering emails. Email me early!
Good place for spreadbets and fixed odds for sport is here...

Good quick execution of bets and a great range of markets. Recommended!

Dave writes :
I agree with comments about Dr Who and Breaking Bad. I used to enjoy Dr. Who years ago but I think it's worn out, it's all about celebrity now, like everything else on telly.

I recently was enjoying the Sopranos a friend let me borrow (fascinating story lines) and my son Rob in Australia (an irrelevance to you of course), he said if you like Sopranos you'll love Breaking Bad. Wow was he ever right. I got the full set from Amazon (apart from the last season). I'm having to eke it out it's so brilliant I don't want it to end, that's the sad bit. What about the uncle in the desert in the wheelchair with the bell strapped to the arm of the chair, the missus and me just fell about and many more just brilliant set ups dragging out every emotion.

Agree Dave, love Breaking Bad. Only five to go for me and I won't spoil what happens for you except it gets more and more addictive!
Gary writes :
"For throwing your heart, soul and energy into one fact-packed, full-on and exhaustingly educational day: FIVE stars with no hesitation!!
Met some really nice people too - like me, nervous that it was the most we'd ever spent on a whole day of anything (had we made arses of ourselves?) But no one felt short-changed, especially when you were still going strong when we all wanted to go to bed! One of your delegates, Susan, back for a second time, said to me unequivocally, "you will go away absolutely inspired." I can't disagree.
Thanks Gary, hope you make some money!

Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.

The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.

I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!

Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!

Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Gabriel writes:
If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering going on one of Robbie's Seminars. You maybe asking yourself (like I did) the testimonials are all well and good but once the euphoria and excitement of attending a Seminar has died down ..... and I am back home in my normal routine and faced with the "graft" of putting it all into practice... will I become a better trader and be financially better off?
Let me tell you that in my case it certainly has!
Book your place pretty sharpish....... is what I say !

Thanks Gabriel!

Terry writes:
Fantastic seminar.

I have always been sceptical of the public testaments you see on web sites
saying how great an event was. Now I'm one of those people!. I
genuinely believe that the tips and techniques as well as the overall
approach you demonstrated will radically improve my trading performance
Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!

ADVFN level 2 offer

To accept this great deal just e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Level 2 offer" in the subject line and I will tell you how to get it.

Level 2 gives you access to all the market maker positions and the order book and I would not trade without it! More on level 2 in my book and I spend hours on it at my seminars.

ADVFN Bronze Offer

Deal two is ADVFN's bronze subscription - normally £88.70 pa - available from me for only £60! (inc vat) That's a saving of nearly £30! You access to the premium bulletin board which contains my discussion forum with direct access to chat to me and some very good traders. Just mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com if you'd like this deal with "silver" in the subject line.

Markets

EMAILS: I do beg you not to send me emails asking me for advice on a particular share. It isn't legal for me to give you individual advice and all I do is send you a mail saying that, which wastes a lot of my time and yours too. This includes asking me what to do with a share, what I might "think" about a share, or deconstructing any of the buys I mention here. I would be grateful, see FAQ for more on this. Of course more than happy to answer general questions not related to specific shares.

****
COPYING TRADES: I can't stop you from copying a trade I made but remember the price may already be a lot higher than I paid indeed I hope it is as buying at good prices is what I do for a living. You may be buying at the top and could easily lose money. Also I can make terrible mistakes and have done in the past. I could also sell before you or before the share tanks. I may still be holding in a year when you sold at a loss. Always do your own research, don't jump in blindly. Market makers are very clever at knowing how to make you pay top dollar and then push you out at a loss. This site is about sensible investment and learning how to trade sensibly and is not a tipping site. Beware. Never push buy on anything till you've done proper research and got yourself a sensible price.
****
I hadn't realised it's been a while since I updated. And with two seminars
done in the meantime (where most of my trades are made and found now!)
I'm looking at a big list of trades and frankly sighing.

I think I made too many. But now I have a big pot I actually do need a lot of positions open to keep a diverse portfolio and those of you who came to the seminars saw them all in my isa and spreadbet accounts .

While it sounds weird, the more you have the harder it is to manage. However a lot of positions are long-term ones which simply go up over the years and I take little notice of unless there is a major move. For example, Avon Rubber which has risen from 2 quid to over a tenner. Once they are in the long-term area it's easy - you can leave a far away stop in case something awful happens but other than that I try and let them be.

It's only when I look through my portfolios at seminars I remember I have this long-termer. Like I still have Costain from four years ago! But it's fine, as long as they gradually rise over time and they decent dividends.

Anyway I simply don't have the energy to publish all or even most of them. Those that came to the seminars saw me buying some live and some historic. So I'm just going to publish what I have the energy for. After all this is stopping me from getting back to the sofa to continue watching a rerun of Game of Thrones...

BTW the next two seminars, the beginners/improvers on Dec 7th and the follow up for those who've been before will both be special Xmas cracker seminars - as well as my normal day I'm going to add in ideas to play a potential Xmas rally. For more details on the Xmas special events Dec 7th if you have not been to one before and the more advanced one on Dev 14th if you have email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "dec seminar interested" (7th Dec)
or "follow up interested" (Dec 14th). There might be a few crackers too!

Right, so here are some of the trades I've made then.

An interesting one that came up at the seminars is Finsbury Food (FIF) which provides high end bakery, cakes and the like.

With the success of Bake Off, demand for high quality bakes has risen (gettit?)
and the company is certainly making a lot of dough.

Profits are rising fast and forecast to rise strongly this year - looks like a share to me that rerates higher, stops for a while then goes up again.

Looks like this one is about to get a sudden rerating higher again and I'm looking for a rise of a further 25% to get the share price up to about 125p. Pretty low risk too unless people really stop eating their kind of stuff.

I bought into new issue Worldpay (WPG)- one of the biggest new issues of the year.

A massive payments company this looks likely to go straight into the FTSE 100 in December, fund managers will be scrambling to get some so I think the price is likely to go higher but I intend to keep this long-term as a core holding.

Payments is a huge business and getting bigger and I suspect Worldpay will continue to buy up the opposition and get bigger and bigger. Perhaps even bid for another of my payments holdings Optimal Payments at some point?

Anyway it seems to me a big winner of a new issue and I also have some as longer term spreadbet investments too.

I have also cemented some buys in another new Issue, brick maker Ibstock (IBST) Just hoping the shares don't crumble now.

The figures for Ibstock are tremendous, very strong rising profits over the last three years. There is so much demand for bricks Ibstock is building new sites just to keep up with demand.

I expect to hold Ibstock for a few years barring any market meltdown cementing. I'm out of brick puns now.

Onto something a bit higher risk. I made a packet on Vislink (VLK) shares a while back and noticed recently they were falling heavily and also noticed plenty of support for the shares in the 30s - we looked at these live at the seminar and considered these were coming down to a very cheap price and would be a buy at any moment. I bought the day after with level 2 looking strong.

Consider this as a higher-risk shorter term idea and looking for 20% or a return of the share price to something like 42-5p. Shares have been under the cosh on restucturing fears but they look overdone.

Staying with higher risk I've bought some Flowgroup (Flow) - like Vlk it has been hit badly recently with the shares whacking down by well over half.

As with vlk this looks overdone and similar to vlk I am looking for shorter-term gains initially - but.. if it carries on with its current strength there is possibly longer-term hold here.

I've picked up some Empressaria (EMP). Some impressive figures coming out of this one and it looks mighty cheap even though it has been going up recently - if it can get through the 100 area 120-130 looks possible.

Finally Equiniti looks an interesting one (EQN).

Figures look pretty good at this provider of tech platforms to many companies. Profits and revenue have been on the rise for some time and its float price
was right at the bottom of a potential range

While this one might take some time to settle in again this will make it into the full share listings causing some fund buying. I would have thought a nice steady initial rise up to 200 is on the cards with this one.

A potential longer-term holding for me.

Onto sells and then buybacks..

I've taken profits of £940 in the short on the AA. It got to the area I was looking for though there is potential more downside - that debt is enormous.

Pets At Home had really done me proud and I couldn't resist banking some gains as it raced past 300 as paper profits were enormous and well over £20,000 as those who came to seminars would have seen.

Then the statement came out which I thought was a tad disappointing so I sold some more after that in the mid 290s. I'm still hanging onto some in a spreadbet though. Profits for the website are £3,019. One to buy back on weakness probably and think will keep hold of the remaining spreadbet.

I took profits on Car after a warning that the VW fiasco would hit profits. Actually I think this is just a short-term hit for Car and they will go back up but as I think it will take some time, out for now. Profit is £ 1835. Should look for a buyback there soon. Profits could have been higher as I nearly sold before the warning.

I sold the trading shares in Tep because once they get anywhere near 1150-1175 sellers come in. Profit is £1,305 . I remain holding my very long-term holding (since 1999!) in share certs. Income is great, and I've collected probably near £150,000 in dividends. Holding with a 5-10 year view. I had a lucky break with Amo, selling a while back for a profit of £2,051. Two weeks later there was a warning. It's total luck, I was out of cash in the isa and needed to take profits on something. As this began with an A it was top of the list and I sold most. I felt the falls were overdone and bought back close to the price I'd bought them at previously.

More bids are in! That's 6 this year now which is fantastic. Al Noor has been bid for just shy of 1200 - haven't cashed out yet just in case of a rival bid. That follows the bid for Aga which netted me a big payout. And it's a final ding dong out of Chime which has gone after a bid for a nice spread payout of £5,370.

Total profits banked for the site then are £14,530.

Elsewhere around the portfolio ..

I keep thinking of banking the final profits in the short in Carpetright - but the shares simply keep going down. They've always been well overpriced and looks a good chance they'll make a final down lunge to the 400 mark.

Powerflute has gone up nicely and should
get up and over 100p at some point soon though will probably take some pushing. Recent buys Avesco and Gama are doing well. Energy Assets is a tricky customer, the massive spread and illquidity a problem there.

Kainos has proved an amazing performer very fast, up more than 100 points on the first buy. I am getting tempted to bank some profits before results due shortly though. Maybe topslice.

Long-termer Vec triggered more payouts giving the shares a lift but they do need to crack 180 to venture any higher. Hopefully patience will pay but in any event doubled my money on them. QP shares have been falling a bit and decided to just about hold on because fundamentals look good - it's not very liquid and that can mean wide swings. Interesting statement today regarding a medical device launch, that's helping the price to swing up.

Photo-me is holding nicely in the mid 150s after a little rise. Iomart continues in the late 200s. Any bidder will have to be looking at 350-400.

Renew just carries on up over time very well. Eto remains stubbornly around 220. However if and when a re-rating happens it will be large and quick, patience should pay, mummy pig.
Optimal Pay has had a crazy time, some ancient hack into its systems caused a sudden drop but that is passed now. I do think Worldpay will snap up Opay at some point.

The lovely GB Group just keeps on going and been in since 20p.
To see it with another nought on the end is sensational. I still think it will end up
being bid for - but in the meantime sits at highs.

A long-termer Avon continues to put out decent statements and have made a fortune from it though a shame I sold out of some of it lower down.
** TWO NEWER SPREADFIRMS I USE:
FOR SMALL COMPANIES:

It is hard to find a firm that does prices on the very small companies but this company does:

http://www.spreadex.com/nakedtrader

It does spreads on smaller ones other companies don't like Xeros so worth having an account for that, been using it for a while and very happy so far. They also have an Ipad offer at the moment which is on that link.

If you like to trade the FTSE, Dow, or currencies then Spreado has an outstanding tight 0.8 spread - that is incredibly tight. The platform is very good and robust and have used it to great satisfaction and profits.

You can sign up at this link which includes a decent market commentary:

I also use IG's spreadbetting service too along with other firms. Great execution of trades and nice trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Also with this link there is an excellent education programme and it offers the biggest range of smaller shares.

As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are.

Capital Spreads offer

Capital Spreads offers a really excellent book on spreadbetting for those who open accounts through the link below. Spreads are very tight and every trade has to have a stop loss which is excellent discipline to have especially for beginners. Execution is really good I find and they also allow shorts on shares it is hard to get shorts on like say Carpetright or facebook.

Telecom Plus Offer

Want to quit the rat race? Try and start a new source of income so one day you can tell the boss to stuff it? You could do what I did to escape my grotty office job and become an independent distributor for the Utilities Discount Warehouse.

It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time. Trades first reported in the diary under Markets every other Thursday afternoon.
