Look forwards to meeting some of you next Friday for the seminar (11th).

Should be an interesting seminar just a couple of days after the US election. Indeed, if Trump wins could be a good time to buy... whatever, markets will
probably be volatile so it won't be a boring day on the markets for us to watch!

There is a new date, Dec 5th, the final seminar till sometime next year.

If interested in either mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with either "Dec interested" for details.

We get going around 10am, should finish 7pm but often it's hard to stop me so it could carry on later than that.

Remember a fab lunch, drinks, snacks all included so all you need to do it bring yourself. And we have a chef making us fresh waffles with all sorts of toppings in the first break so don't eat too much for breakfast.

I hope you all enjoy it and we even might find a nice trade or two along the way and we will trade live from my own isa and SB accounts. See you there!

Off out to the theatre tonight. One of my sister's theatres (she
owns 5 West End theatres) - it's a comedy called Dead Funny.

And it is supposed to be dead funny so looking forwards to that.

We'll go into town by boat down the Thames which is always lovely. Love good comedies
so here's hoping, we get to go to the after party too. Report back next time for any
of you luvvies out there.

I love fireworks and have got a couple of big boxes including a massive "wildfire" firework for the finale...

Even better rather than messing up our own garden we're going to let them off at a friend's house - they have a much bigger garden is the excuse. Can I get away with leaving them to clear it all up the next
day or will conscience get the better of me and clear them up after?

But surely it's dangerous to clear afterwards is going to be my attempt...

So two whole weeks of half term are now over!

We spent some of it in Ireland where of course it rained most of the time.

Still, it is all cozy and Irish people are such a good laugh and very welcoming. Christopher loves his Irish heritage and gets stuck into the laughs. He does a brilliant Irish accent too. Stayed at a nice hotel. There is nothing as good as Irish service, always welcoming and fun without being servile.

It's Christopher's 12th birthday shortly. Can hardly believe it,
one more year till he shrugs and says "Whatever".

He's turned out a lovely lad, full of fun and energy. We're trying
to get him into a school we think will suit but and he's taking tests
and stuff this week, we will know in December.

We hope they take his character into account as well as "results"
which seem to me mainly to be a test of short-term memory. Why he can't remember nine 7's when he can probably tell you who scored in some football game two years ago I just don't know..

His birthday involves taking six of his friends to the Fulham Vs Huddersfield game. (Help!!)

I usually tell the stewards it's up to them to control them and I do not know them and they are nothing to do with me at all. After that it's a "sleepover".

Last time it was so noisy the neighbours thought we were being attacked by burglars and offered to call the police. Maybe now they are a year older.....but ..help!!!!

At the end of half term we went to sample the "Cereal Killer" Cafe in Camden.

Yes, all they do is breakfast cereal (and toast too). It's good fun, they have cereals from all over the world and lots from the states. Interesting choices of milk too including "bubblegum" flavour.

So a massive sugar rush for energy to wander round the market afterwards. There's another branch too. Great idea though I guess it's a novelty that you'd only visit once or twice a year. Give it a go!

We got a bit of a surprise at a Japanese restaurant we went to last week, I'd say it was the best ones we have come across! It is pricey: £150 for two with cocktails but worth it for the amazing food.

It's Koji in Fulham - just superb tasting food - we had the lamb cutlets, sashimi, black cod and banana ice cream. All fabulous. And the singapore sling cocktail was a dream. Great service too for a 10/10.

Seminar news: new date is Dec 5th. Mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested" in the subject line.
There is a decent early bird discount. Also there might be a follow up xmas rally seminar on dec 12th for those who've been before if there is enough interest so mail me if interested!

Beginners and improvers welcome! Come and spend the day with me, the markets and some lovely people - and of course, lunch, lots of sugary snacks, and even live chocolate waffle making in the teabreak!

My seminars are designed for beginners, dabblers and improvers and deals with everything from how to look for winners, how to research, spreadbetting, level 2 use how to time trades and short, how to use advfn properly and run your portfolio without having to spend money on systems and tipsters.. and tons more.

A lot of the day comes directly from the live markets and I show you many of the tricks I use to get good prices live. And there might even be the odd live trade or 2!

Here's some feedback from from "D"

'It's obvious from his site Robbie Burns is a good market analyst and shrewd stock-picker. He is also a highly opinionated commentator on everything from TV shows to food. Therefore I expected his seminar to be 75% entertainment, 15% general exposition for beginners and-- if we were lucky-- 10% of something I could use to help me invest. But I could not have been more wrong.

The opinions on food and politics etc. though genuine, are I believe a bit of disguise or misdirection for there is a real touch of rebel genius here. And in the seminar, which is 95% hardball, he actually takes you candidly right into the mental process involved in his successful trading, making it a pretty amazing display, even showing his own investment accounts right there on the screen. You can see at once why so many of us are merely stabbing in the dark with our investments.

This is a genuine coaching session in how to trade like him if you put in the graft. I have only bought one stock since, as I am waiting for the tools he recommends, but I got the price down by using his tactics and I cannot recommend the seminar too highly if you are going there to learn. It must be taxing on him to let us at such length and in such detail into the process, which has made him so much money (for--unlike so many other so-called experts the seminars are not a day job). My advice therefore would be to sign up for this while he is still prepared to do it.'

When I left my full-time job to trade it really helped having another income: this I got from part-time selling energy and phone services to people and getting a cut of their use of their home services forever! Naked Trader Seminar Latest News

NEW DATE MON DEC 5TH
NEAR HEATHROW

Fancy spending a day with me, learning all the ways I have learned over the years to find good shares and play the markets? Well, you can at one of my seminars!
Booking is open for the new date Naked Trader seminar on Dec 5th

Price is £650 plus vat. However there is a substantial early bird discount on offer. Mail me for details.
That includes three course lunch, coffees, snacks etc.
The seminar is mainly aimed at beginners and dabblers though improvers are welcome too.
Topics covered using live market feeds all day include: Market psychology, level 2 - a simple guide to how to use it for better timing; how to value companies; finding companies that are about to rise. I will also cover techniques for handling events such as the recent meltdown and volatility.
Spreadbetting: How to use it to gain an edge and go short. Market makers - how they work and how to beat them; how to stop losing money and make it instead and plenty more.
How to plan trade entries and exits - how to research companies and understand reports, plus all those niggly questions you always wanted to ask. How to set stop losses and targets. Charts and how to use them.
Also covered: Market maker tricks: How to spot tree shakes and use them in your favour, How to tell when NOT to buy a share. I use live ADVFN all day with lots of level 2 and looks at all kind of live market data.
The idea behind the seminar is SIMPLICITY. I don't use jargon or fancy words - everything is in PLAIN ENGLISH! No question is too stupid and the event is held in a friendly relaxed and supportive environment.
The idea is you will come away from the event I hope a wise and better investor with lots of new ideas. I try and translate complex topics into easy bite size pieces. I also aim for it to be entertaining as well as instructive.
If you are interested please e-mail me at robbiethetrader@aol.com with "Dec seminar interested" in the subject line and I will send you full details of the event including comments from those who have come to previous seminars and you can then decide whether you would like to come. See you there!
One seminar attendee Clare wanted to write a testimonial about her experiences at the seminar which follows now!
"I've just come back buzzing from one of Robbie's seminars. What a day! He's just brilliant, and manages to pack an awful lot into one day, and with his enthusiastic and humorous delivery the day just flies by. There are no gimmicks, no sell, no "˜get-rich-quick' promises, just his own solid, sound approach which he has learnt over the years and which works.
He shows you how to minimise the risks and maximise the profits and points out the banana skins on the way. Where the seminar really comes into its own is when he teaches using live level 2. Hearing him talk through his thought processes and reasoning is invaluable, and really brings home everything from the book. He has endless patience answering peoples' questions, and really seems to care that everybody understands.
On top of that, you meet some really nice like minded people and swap e mail addresses, you're plied with
chocolates and coffee all day, have a great lunch and spend the evening getting tiddled with Robbie in the
bar afterwards!
Don't worry about the cost, it's easily worth it, and you'll soon make it back with your new-found investment skills, and in what you're no longer losing. If you're thinking of going along to his next seminar, whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, don't hesitate ""just go!
Thanks Clare, did you want the tenner in cash, or will a cheque do?

Naked Rambling

Have we reached "peak Apple"? Sales are slowing at the big corporation so beloved by everyone seemingly except me who has lived perfectly happily without any of its products.

Then again, I'm not a selfie loving zombie texter with no real friends right?

Goodness knows why loved. Crazy margins thanks to slave labour. Oh by the way they just put prices up 20%....

I think a backlash is coming. At the mo people seem to think technology has freed them when actually it is enslaving them.

Just walking through Waterloo Station at rush last week shows it. People are so hooked to their "phones" they walk entranced not caring who they knock over or who has to get out of their way. A

report in the Times says digital addiction is shrinking memories and eroding attention spans. It also warns unless we start to unplug now we will become slaves to it.

It is a "pivotal moment" in human history. With virtual reality and artificial intelligence racing towards us, our apps and devices will only become cleverer and more immersive. If we don't find ways to unplug now, to control technology before it controls us, we may never do so.

Absolutely awful to read about the family wiped out by the lorry driver who was on his mobile. Shocking. But sadly this will happen again and again as phone addiction grows. Seems to me when people are on them they lose all sense of reality.

By the time of my next update Trump or Clinton will be in charge of the USA. Unbelievable!

We must all be scratching our heads wondering how these two ended up slugging it out. Weird to see two people smashing into each other rather than bothering talking about real policies. Americans must be furious it has come to this, well that's how the ones I've talked to feel about it.

Two shows on TV on the same theme - robots becoming sentient. Westworld on Atlantic and Humans on Ch 4. Westworld easily the better.

Westworld is proving a massive hit for us on Sky Atlantic. It is so plausible that not too far into the future we will have theme parks with robot humans in them you can interact with.

It's all very clever and thought provoking too. Especially the "guests".

They can take a holiday and live out another side to their personality that they couldn't bring out in real life. Not quite the next Game of Thrones but pretty darned good.

Meanwhile Ch4 Humans is a more budget limiting and nowhere near as good though just about watchable. It's a bit cardboard cutout though - the themes in Westworld are far cleverer and more interesting.

So called comedy Divorce with Sarah jessica Parker has been a massive disappointment. given it's written by Sharon Horgan of the sublime "Catastrophe"

We were expecting a hilarious series. But we ended up looking at each other and going "Can it really be this bad? Keeping going with it for now in case it improves.

Maybe the crazy Irishness of Catastrophe has simply been toned down too much. Maybe watching couples bicker is just dull. We'll give it two more episodes.

The Apprentice? Well that has become more of a quick fast forward through these days rather than watching the whole thing.

Lord Sir A and his sidekicks seem more to be going through the motions than showing much interest in it.

Congrats to the contestant who just quit realising she was just being used TV. Brave decision - shows she is probably the most intelligent of the lot. There aren't really any interesting candidates so far, maybe one will appear. Nice one by Liberty to get all that publicity in the last show..

. According to mumsnet today men are very good at giving awful gifts. The worst apparently was a man who have his wife a pork pie.

"It was the only thing I could think of," he said.

Other terrible gifts included windscreen wipers, spot cream and a torch. I tend to get a lot of washbags...

But the worst I got was from an old girlfriend.

She forgot to order a birthday cake for me and got only one the shop had left
just before closing time.

So my birthday cake bore the legend:" WELCOME HOME, OLIVE"

I will wonder what happened to Olive and why she didn't make it home.

I've had a bet on Alistair Brownlee to win BBC sports personality of the year - looks a good alternative to Andy Murray at around 3/1 with spreadex. Someone I know who's a great better on these types of things has had £600 on. So I just pass that on!

You can bet on it with spreadex here:

http://www.spreadex.com/nakedtrader/sports

Good quick execution of bets and a great range of markets. Recommended!

Dave writes :
I agree with comments about Dr Who and Breaking Bad. I used to enjoy Dr. Who years ago but I think it's worn out, it's all about celebrity now, like everything else on telly.

I recently was enjoying the Sopranos a friend let me borrow (fascinating story lines) and my son Rob in Australia (an irrelevance to you of course), he said if you like Sopranos you'll love Breaking Bad. Wow was he ever right. I got the full set from Amazon (apart from the last season). I'm having to eke it out it's so brilliant I don't want it to end, that's the sad bit. What about the uncle in the desert in the wheelchair with the bell strapped to the arm of the chair, the missus and me just fell about and many more just brilliant set ups dragging out every emotion.

Agree Dave, love Breaking Bad. Only five to go for me and I won't spoil what happens for you except it gets more and more addictive!
Gary writes :
"For throwing your heart, soul and energy into one fact-packed, full-on and exhaustingly educational day: FIVE stars with no hesitation!!
Met some really nice people too - like me, nervous that it was the most we'd ever spent on a whole day of anything (had we made arses of ourselves?) But no one felt short-changed, especially when you were still going strong when we all wanted to go to bed! One of your delegates, Susan, back for a second time, said to me unequivocally, "you will go away absolutely inspired." I can't disagree.
Thanks Gary, hope you make some money!

Duane writes:
Wanted to say a big thank you to you and Mrs NT for an amazing day of learning and fun at your seminar.

The way you explained the share trading from start to finish was understandable and really interesting, well worth the seminar fee!
It was great to hear such down to earth and honest assessment from a successful trader like yourself. The way you explained everything was good revision from your book and gave further insight into successful share trading.

I particularly liked your live trades and going through your accounts when you gave snippets of why you invested in certain shares and why you kept/dumped them. Also helpful was the way you searched for prospective shares and within minutes discounted them or put them on a short list for further examination and correct entry points. Amazing!
You could really tell that you loved doing what you do and your energy levels to keep going till 10pm was well....... I had to leave at 9pm I was shattered!

Thanks again Robbie I am keen to put into practice what you have taught me. Even though you make squillions from your trades and I am sure don't need to do the seminars for financial gain, but please keep doing those seminars for newbies like me!

Thanks Duane! Don't expect to be doing them foreever but very rewarding for me to help people so expect to carry on for a while longer.
Gabriel writes:
If you are reading this, you are perhaps considering going on one of Robbie's Seminars. You maybe asking yourself (like I did) the testimonials are all well and good but once the euphoria and excitement of attending a Seminar has died down ..... and I am back home in my normal routine and faced with the "graft" of putting it all into practice... will I become a better trader and be financially better off?
Let me tell you that in my case it certainly has!
Book your place pretty sharpish....... is what I say !

Thanks Gabriel!

Terry writes:
Fantastic seminar.

I have always been sceptical of the public testaments you see on web sites
saying how great an event was. Now I'm one of those people!. I
genuinely believe that the tips and techniques as well as the overall
approach you demonstrated will radically improve my trading performance
Thanks Terry, well all the testaments are real but know what you mean and glad you feel it was worth it!

ADVFN level 2 offer

Markets

EMAILS: I do beg you not to send me emails asking me for advice on a particular share. It isn't legal for me to give you individual advice and all I do is send you a mail saying that, which wastes a lot of my time and yours too. This includes asking me what to do with a share, what I might "think" about a share, or deconstructing any of the buys I mention here. I would be grateful, see FAQ for more on this. Of course more than happy to answer general questions not related to specific shares.

****
COPYING TRADES: I can't stop you from copying a trade I made but remember the price may already be a lot higher than I paid indeed I hope it is as buying at good prices is what I do for a living. You may be buying at the top and could easily lose money. Also I can make terrible mistakes and have done in the past. I could also sell before you or before the share tanks. I may still be holding in a year when you sold at a loss. Always do your own research, don't jump in blindly. Market makers are very clever at knowing how to make you pay top dollar and then push you out at a loss. This site is about sensible investment and learning how to trade sensibly and is not a tipping site. Beware. Never push buy on anything till you've done proper research and got yourself a sensible price.

New offer: £50 or £100 off Stockopaedia and free trial

I rarely do offers - Forex companies in particular offer me eyewatering sums. I turn all this down as I would never put out an offer for a company where I think my reader will 95% likely lose, or be taken for a ride.

Having had lots of mails from people using Stockopaedia and using it myself I am 100% confident.

Stockopedia is indeed like a stock market encyclopaedia and a great place to scan for new shares to buy, check out fundamentals, discuss on a sensible bulletin board. Each share gets a ranking, you can use "guru" screens to find shares, there is even a stock screen loosely based on my criteria! There are strategies based on ideas from top investors.

There is lots more really fantastic material and I believe access should help investors and I now use it myself.

We're coming up to decision time in the US! In fact this will be made before my next update here. It means expect next week to be quite volatile! Indeed spreadbetting firms have raised margins in expectation of some big swings.
If you take part re spreadbetting or short term bets remember if you are on the wrong side of it you could lose your shirt!
Analysts reckon a Clinton win means no change or a few gains.
A Trump win means short-term fall in shares but then a massive rally and medium term a higher stock market. So they say. I really have no idea. Could be one way or another once the smoke has cleared nothing much will change, a bit like Brexit.
I suspect if Trump does win, wait for shares to fall then buy. But anyway, look, the market is bonkers and tends to do the exact opposite of what you or anyone else thinks.
Actually it doesn't care what you think. It just wants your money and take your chips as fast as it can.
I just had an email from someone I warned about trading Forex. Of course he still went for it and lost like everyone does. Now he tells me trading indicies seems a bit easier.
Good luck with that! People want to make quick money and of course they always end up losing and take little notice of what me - a boring old fart - might say.
The fun thing is it is us BOF's who end up with the money! I'll stick to being one of those but look, do enjoy the thrills and spills of Forex. I just wouldn't mention your eventual massive losses to your partner because they will go spare and you'll find yourself out of luck in the bedroom department for some time...
Right time for some cool BOF action !! Yes, some real BOF shares coming right atcha.
I got a scaled down allocation of 4,924 new shares in Tritax Big Box (BBOX) at the 132p issue price.
Just had another dividend in on my current holding too. Lovely divi paying long-term hold with superb management who seem to be able to raise new money quite easily.
I'm up more than £5,000 in my longer-term holding in Spire (SPI) - private heathcare. Indeed I've been treated at a Spire for my tummy troubles, excellent care indeed.
I've now topped up with a few more. I can only see private heathcare growing over the next few years and so too the shareprice. It takes time for the price to go up but it does gradually over time. So I'm in for a few more. It also pays a dividend.
I've had another go with Character (CCT) - the shares seem to bottom out at 430-450 so worth another try given they look so cheap. FX of course means profits will be hit a bit but surely it's in the price. In a way it is quite an easy one: get out if it falls below 400-410.
I've bought into Biffa (BIFF). It's basically buying bins. Or bin clearances or waste management as Tony Soprano put it.
Endless jokes possible here!
Go on then: obviously I hope it is not a s*** choice!
The float went badly - was cut from 230p to 180p and then sank to 170. Given I can get in lower than the institutions paid it looks worth a try. Debt is quite large but it has assets too and at this price is trading on a reasonable multiple. Could end up being a nice one.
Let's hope I don't have to sell it at a crap price.
I shorted St Ives, (SIV) the last statement was horrible and there may be some further downside.
Also shorted more of the FTSE. Have stop loss in at break even now on the one I did last time so if shares climb fast after the election I should hopefully break even on them.
Onto quite a bit of profit and loss taking! In fact I've moved quite heavily into cash with £350,000 or so sitting on the sidelines. It's not especially that I fear a market meltdown as I can always go short - it's more that I have other projects on the go and I'm spending less time watching the markets and more time doing other stuff, life is short after all and so much I want to do!
You should always be grateful to bank a loss before it gets bigger. NCC got hit by a warning which turned a nice profit into a loss.
What is really annoying is I had it marked down to take profits. "Ooh," I said to myself. "I must bag some profits, there it is way over target." Then tea and toast called. "I'll do it tomorrow," I thought, settling down for a nice watch of Deal or No Deal. Guess what happened next day. doh!
Anyhow whichever way you read it, it seemed horrible so I quit for a loss of £966 and £417. With a market lesson. Never trust Noel Edmonds. I have now tentatively bought a few back given the sell off probably is overcooked.
GB Group (GBG) shares tumbled - but it wasn't a warning - a slowdown in one division that wasn't going to affect profits much. I sold off the top up shares taking a loss of £588 and then bought some back at a lower price and I also held onto the ones bought under a quid (first lot at 20p).
The next statement should shed more light. These things happen: no-one will ever get away without one or two letting you down however careful you might be. If this is a blip, the shares have some good upside to come from here. I think they also might make a nice bid target at this lower price.
Hotel C - Goodness me I never expected it to do this well and thought it might be two years before a 100 point rise. Given it happened so fast I quit before the share price decided to melt (gettit?) - banked a nice profit of £1,665
The spreadbet in RTN has done the business and out with a profit of £560.
The RPC trade has paid off nicely though has taken over a year and now out with a lovely profit of £3,184. I took some part profits, sold half the OSI for a profit of £250. A bit of topslicing of long-termers qtx and xsg for profits of £542 and £199. INL went for a profit of £380. Tep reached recent highs so sold the trading lot last bought for a profit of £2,662, keeping the long-term ones.
Share shorts (betting on shares to go down) has really paid off.
The short in AA worked a dream! I was looking for a downswing to 260 and got it and a bit more - making a profit of £530. And another repeat short worked well too, that one was Emis, now closed for a profit of £970.
Short in PZC hit target for a profit of £320 and DVO closed for a profit of £255. SMS short hit its target for a profit of £1,100. mYSl never looked like going down much so quit for a small £150.
Still, given shorting isn't generally a big strength for me (apart from a massive Carpetright profit of over £25,000 last year) it's nice to collect a combined profit of £2,355 and though the AA took a few weeks the others only took a about a month.
So total profits from my sells (profits minus the losses) gives a total profit for the site of £10,796 and puts me into plenty of cash.
Elsewhere a bid is now confirmed for Cyprotex at 160 which means me and the website pretty much doubled our money. I roughly made £15,000 personally. Not selling it quite yet as the price should rise a little bit more the nearer it gets to leaving the market.
FXI gave a very upbeat statement and looks like there is plenty of upside and nipped a few for the sipp.
Anyway we shall all need seatbelts next week for a possible roller-coaster ride... if you are a beginner it might be wise and wait till the dust settles!
I suspect like brexit, even if Trump wins, in a month's time everything will be back to normal and we'll be saying "What was all that about?" Often, the best policy is to do nothing at all!

** Two Newer Spreadfirms I Use

FOR SMALL COMPANIES:

It is hard to find a firm that does prices on the very small companies but this company does:

http://www.spreadex.com/nakedtrader

It does spreads on smaller ones other companies don't like Xeros so worth having an account for that, been using it for a while and very happy so far. They also have an Ipad offer at the moment which is on that link.

If you like to trade the FTSE, Dow, or currencies then Spreado has an outstanding tight 0.8 spread - that is incredibly tight. The platform is very good and robust and have used it to great satisfaction and profits.

You can sign up at this link which includes a decent market commentary:

I also use IG's spreadbetting service too along with other firms. Great execution of trades and nice trailing stops which to me is a pretty sensible way of trading. Also with this link there is an excellent education programme and it offers the biggest range of smaller shares.

As usual before opening accounts please read all the warnings on the sites. You can lose a lot of money if you're not careful so pay close attention to them and make sure you always understand what you are doing and what your potential losses are.

Telecom Plus Offer

Want to quit the rat race? Try and start a new source of income so one day you can tell the boss to stuff it? You could do what I did to escape my grotty office job and become an independent distributor for the Utilities Discount Warehouse.
You get to sell great broadband, phone packages and energy to friends, relatives, contacts and anyone else you find and you get cash for each sale but more importantly you get a cut of their spend EVERY MONTH for as long as they are a customer!
It's called residual income and is a far better way to enjoy a ripe old age than relying on a pension. Because even after you stop selling the money STILL comes in!
I still get paid EVERY MONTH for sales I made back in 1999! Every time a customer uses broadband or the phone or switches on a light you get paid.
It's a great business and backed by a stock market company (Telecom Plus), a dedicated team of advisors.. and me to help you on your way!
Not only do you get paid out every month for each customer you can take on distributors. encourage them like I do and get paid on their sales as well.
One day, say you could made redundant, needed a year off or wanted to retire early can you imagine what joy it is to have the regular income coming in. It's wonderful.
You have to work at it, but if you do genuine repeat wealth could be yours. I did it. You can too. For full details, why not email me at robbiethetrader@aol.com.

Trade tables follow! Trades are current open and recently closed trades. Closed trades feature the closing price and the amount I won or lost. All others are open. Trades get updated a little later than the narrative. Trading costs are ignored, however I also do not add in dividend payments and with the kinds of companies I buy, dividends tend to equal or outweigh costs. Spread rollovers ignored for web purposes. Tables as accurate as poss however a mistake or two can creep in and very occasionally if I forgot I sold or bought something it will be added at a later time. Trades first reported in the diary under Markets every other Thursday afternoon.
